Ticket Advice

Hi there,

My friend and I are planning on spending 5 days in Orlando. We're hoping to have the following itinerary:

1 day at Hollywood Studios
1 day at Epcot/Magic Kingdom
1 day at Typhoon
2 days at Universal parks

Just wondering which tickets you knowledgeable people would buy to make it cheaper?!

If it would make any difference so we didn't need the park hopper option, we could do:

1 day at Hollywood Studios
1 day at Epcot
1 day at Typhoon/Magic Kingdom
2 days at Universal parks

A good starting point for tickets is Mapleleaf as they compare their prices to gate price.

3 day Disney MYW base ticket = $238.56 (£146)
3 day & 3 water park & fun days = $296.07 (£182)

5 day UK unlimited ticket (incl hopping, water parks Disney Quest) = £215

There is no cheap way to do short stays, the longer you stay the cheaper it gets. ie you get 21 days unlimited entry for £254, only £39 more than 5 days.

Universal 14 days unlimited ticket = £84

2 day ticket bought online $124.62 (£76) no hopping, incl $10 online disc.
2 day with hopping $145.92 (£90) might as well buy the UK 14 day ticket than this.

They were great when our holiday was cancelled giving us tickets for 2011 , charging us no postage and throwing in free tickets- there customer service was great.

My dad on the other hand was charges extra to get 2011 tickets, had to pay postage and had to wait weeks for new tickets.

Worth looking at their prices.

You will for a Disney 14 day ticket they charge £244 yet it can be bought elsewhere at £219.
