anyone know where I can get a nice looking tiara for not alot of money??? I had no idea they were so pricey:confused3

I dont know any place online but I can totally sympathize with you! Some are outrageous. I ended up going to the local bridal store during one of their headpiece/tiara trunk shows where I was able to get between 10-15% off. It helped tremendously and I was able to get something I loved and could actually hold rather than hope I liked what was shipped. Maybe also Davids bridal?

I know i am so afraid to buy something online because it never looks the same in person:sad2: i am just having a hard time paying a few hundred dollars for stones that are not even real:headache: thanks i will check davids bridal.

Alot of people get them off of ebay. I got mine, which was the same company that made my dress from the Bridal Salon that I got my dress. It was $58. A splurge for me. But I love it. Um do a search for tiara's there are alot of online companies.

oh good idea i will def check it out and let ya know:banana: thanks for the tip. i need all the money saving tips i can get and yes $58 is a splurge for me too for something that is just going to sit in my hair, but its alot better than a few hundred dollars:scared1: Thanks alot

I have also seen some really pretty ones at Claires. They are putting out alot lately, I guess for prom season. Oh here's another idea. StumpsProm.com. We always got prom tiaras there. They have tons.

Back in the summer when I got my dress... they had some at davids bridal for like 12 and 15 bucks. Walmart has some.. but not sure of their quality even in terms of looks.

Call me cheap or cheesy, but try Claire's or the icing.

They have cute ones that look just as good as David's Bridal. I think they are around 15-20 bucks.

They will yellow over time, but if you are looking for simple and cheap for something to sit in your hair for a day or two, they work just as good and look just as nice as a more expensive one.

I wish I had checked there first. I got mine from David's for about $75.00 and they had one at Claire's almost identical for $13.50. :sad2:

eBay! I bought a nice one, let me see if they still have it...

I think it's this one, or something like it:

I ended up not using it b/c my aunt bought me one from the bridal salon (ack, it was like $175).

Anyway, eBay is a great place! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

good luck...

I wish I could find these reasonable tiaras at Davids the ones i saw were all like over $100:confused: I went to claires and the icing didnt have much of a selection. but i did go on ebay after i saw the beautiful tiara that Cryssi posted and fell in love with some beautiful tiaras there. so what do u guys think? think its ok to get one from ebay? its so hard when you cant see it in person:headache: They do have ones that say they are swarvorski crystals and i know they do sparkle alot but i am just a little leary:rolleyes: what do u guys think?

i wish i saw ones for $12 it would be nice to buy it in person!! oh and by the way i love your gown i tried it on in davids but it looks much nicer on you:bride:

I'm in the same boat. I fell in love with one at the Swarofski store(don't ask me why I went in there to even look...lol), and it was $385...which is a big no no for me, well I guess here's to happy tiara hunting...

did you see the ones on ebay that say they are swarvorski??? what do u think of them.

I bought my tiara from the same website I bought my dress (bridalonlinestore.com) and it was very reasonably priced.

Some people are scared at the idea of buying a dress you haven't tried on, but mine actually fit perfectly! At least you don't have to see if a tiara fits you properly!

you want to look beautiful on your wedding day so I say don't settle for a tacky, cheap tiara.

I mean you CAN get a cheap tiara that looks pretty as long as you search and have a good eye.

I fell in love with an Erica Koesler bun wrapper and was prepared to pay $200 for it but they stopped making it! so I found a woman who custom made it for $130. It came out GORGEOUS!

I'm now looking for a tiara/headband as a backup in case i DON"T want to do a bun. And i definitely don't want to spend a lot of money.

I found a pretty one on glamgal.com. But it is $69

I can't believe how expensive hair pins are!!!

I agree I dont want anything tacky, but I would like to find something nice for a reasonable price.;)

I did find a site called princessbridetiaras.com on The Knot and was wondering if anyone has ever gotten their headpiece from them. They sound pretty good and their tiaras are absolutely beautiful. The one I want to get is $89 which happens to be a much better price then the ones i have seen. Just wondering if anyone has any info on them or has gotten anything from them, and if you are looking for a tiara stop by and check them out, they are beautiful!!!!:) ;)

you just have to have a good eye and really SEARCH because the market is flooded with cheesey headpieces.

and i just think on this day of all days, you deserve to look gORgEOUS!!!!

if you can look stunning for $12 that is AWESOME but if it's going to take $70 or more, YOU ARE WORTH IT!

:)
