Tiana's Bayou Adventure Opening Day

Will care about what?
I hypothesize that people will not materially care about the new Tiana attraction. As in, it won’t drive many new people to come to the park.

They will care about the Christmas decorations, Holiday Haunted Mansion, Holiday Small World, and Holiday Cars Land…..

We’ll be there a week after it opens, but have no desire to ride it in November.

We won't know until November 15th.

Previews are for Magic Key holders and cast members.

If hype about some chocolate chip cookies can generate a frenzy at Harbor Galley, I'm sure Tiana's will.

But from everything I have seen those are all the same as previous years there is nothing new. Same Fireworks. Same Parade. Same WoC. Same decorations. Tiana's will be NEW. New trumps old any day of the week.

Of course this is only my opinion and could equally be wrong.

If you are talking about NEW people, I don't think the holiday decorations (which happen every year) will be a draw for new people either. I think Disneyland's 70th, Paint the Night and possibly other popular parades/shows will attract people who don't normally go to the parks.

As far as MK holders, 8 of the 15 preview days have no DL reservations available. After Tiana's opens, there are no DL reservations for Nov 15, 17, 18, 20, 21, 22, Dec 1, 6, 7, 8, 13.

I am referring to a delta for Tiana’s above and beyond the normal holiday surge.

It’s like the rethemed tree house in Adventureland. Most people checked it out once, but no one made a special trip just to see the tree house.

Most people will not want to get wet in November.

I don't think you can compare the Adventureland Tree House to Tiana's. They just aren't the same caliber. I would put this more in line with Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway.

While I agree that about no reservations, some of those dates are fully booked for other reasons in my mind. Candlelight Processional is 12/7 and 12/8 which is always a very crowded weekend. 12/13 is the last day most of the lower passes can come before the holidays so people have that booked already. 11/15 - maybe Tiana, maybe first day of the holiday season --- the influencers will be out in force filming all the treats and popcorn buckets and other stuff that day --- I am assuming most of the influencers will ride during previews with their magic keys.

I have ridden Tiana at WDW twice last month. I would like to see the differences while it is somewhat fresh in my mind. Like @AstroBlasters, I don't think people (especially those who live in CA and are wimps about the cold) will be flocking to ride Tiana during the winter months. And certainly not over and over. If there is a warm day and we have a reservation, I might ride it. I barely ride Pirates in the colder months - we just do not like being wet on the cooler days. I fully expect to probably not ride Tiana until next summer.

I got group 10 for today’s preview. I’m excited to see the differences from the MK version, and today is good weather for a water ride since my next DL visit after today isn’t until the weekend before Thanksgiving due to a WDW trip and an nyc trip. I was also able to grab a haunted mansion VQ right after I got my TBA VQ. I don’t know if that will hold for when it turns over to regular ride ops.
