Morning all... pm sent and I believe I am IN!!

I was driving to work one day (going to a school to talk to the kids) and had a very important prop for my talk in the car with me. THis prop just happend to be a large garbage can (is that what you call them? I would say 'dustbin') with an equally large smiley face stuck onto it, and it was sitting in the passenger seat of my car with the seatbelt round it.

Anyway my car breaks down in the middle of the road as i try to turn right (same as you guy in the US turning left... I was right in the middle of the road). So someone comes along and tries to push the car onto the grass at the side of the road... but fails to put the whole car onoto the side...

After I have sat there a while (this is before cell phones) some police drive by, and being nice and kind they stop to help... a very strange girl in a car which is half on / half off the road with a garbage can smiling at them from the front passenger seat...

PS I can happily confirm that although the wheel is not spinning, my hamster is very much alive!!!
