You don't have to be related to him to say TMI on that one!

You had to do it . . . you just had to bring up those spawn of Satan, Tinky Winky, Dipsy, et al. I cannot tell you how many countless hours those freaks polluted my television screen for the amusement of my son, to the point where I would crave the sweet release that only a running car in a tightly sealed garage can bring. Okay, maybe I exaggerate just a tad, but lord, they weren't good. Whew, I feel better. Rant over.
What is this spawn of Barney you speak about? :confused3

No Wiggles or Teletubies for us. We had Barney and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The funny part is that the Maryland Band plays Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as stand music at football games.

ok people...let's get busy. I want this thread to go to 100 posts to prove that my riddles aren't the only ones causing chaos! ;) :teeth:

ly/mi E! :love2:

Just doin' my part to get us to 100.

David watched Barney, Pooh Corner, Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers. He also liked Ninja Turtles. Amy liked Barney, Pooh Corner and animated Disney.

I still have the Ninja Turtle mask I made for David. I wear it occassionally when a super hero needs to shape folks up around here. They usually just laugh at me. :lmao:

LOL, Donna... I think you just want to think you aren't that much of a bad influence ;)

Good lord, you'd think anyone who worships Chachi (or is it Charles in Charge?) would know who the Teletubbies are -- I think those are 2 of the 7 signs of the apocalypse. :rotfl2: In any event, the Teletubbies starred in a mindless, insipid show aimed at the toddler set. Barney was rocket science compared to this show. Jerry Falwell ranted and raved about them, because one of the characters was, how shall we say, a little too ambiguous about his sexuality -- he was a boy who carried a purse, and had a triangle on his head. Actually, I think the Teletubbies were intellectual giants compared to Falwell, but that's a whole 'nother rant. 'Nuff said.
