Thrifty Car Rental For Oct.

I just got off the phone with DVC Member Services and they were able to quote me a 9 day mid-size car for $162 all taxes included through Thrifty. That comes out to be $18 per day. I didn't need any codes or coupons. I would imagine you could call Disney Travel (CRO) and get the same quote.

The only down side is that Thrifty's Counter is off the airport. You have to take a 5 minute shuttle ride to their lot. For that price I don't mind it at all.

For those of you looking for a good October rental rate this maybe the way to go. All of the other rental car company's rates seem to be outrageous right now.

I'm noticing this myself that Thrifty has the best rates right now. I booked a SUV through them for $350 for 11 days in October. I also have an SUV ressie with Alamo for around $360. I figure if the prices don't drop by our travel date I will probably go with Alamo just because they are onsite at the airport. I am sure the prices with both companies will drop though so we shall see who is lowest in a few months!
