WLWildlife: I have the same calendar! I hadn’t ordered one of theirs in a few years because I wasn’t crazy about the pictures they chose, but I liked this years. I have actually been reusing one from around 8 years ago in my bedroom because every month has a different photo of Cinderella’s castle. (I cut up one of the free calendars I get in the mail to tape over the days)

Inside on Friday
Our first sleepover of the year with our DGD. So grateful to see her, watch her open our gifts, and then play with them.

Outside
Another fan of fresh air. It may be cold, but the summer months here are hot and humid and they just don’t feel healthy!

I've never been to Missouri, so 3 long, thin things I'm grateful for are:

• pencils and pens, especially fun novelty pens
• ribbons for gift-wrapping
• pool noodles

I’ve been to Missouri a few times, but not enough to know the state well. @WDWEPCOT , today’s your day to tell us all the wonderful things about Missouri

Long Thin Things (sadly, that doesn’t describe me )

#1 - SHOESTRINGS - Can’t tie your shoes without them.

#2 - DOG LEASH - I have them in several different lengths

#3 - PHONE CHARGER CORDS - They’re all over the house in different lengths.

Our free world class St. Louis zoo it’s a great zoo you should come and see our wonderful zoo

Gateway arch - it’s a national Park it’s a wonderful monument it’s a great place to come see go up in the arch enjoy the view and visit the museum at the bottom of the arch

Art museum or science center we have some wonderful museums we have some great places to visit Grant‘s farm we have six flags Purina Farms you could go to Branson there’s all kinds of stuff to do down there if you like casinos we have several we have a lovely Italian area wonderful Italian restaurants get you some toasted raviolis better known as toasted ravs you gotta go to Ted Drews you can’t go to St. Louis and not go to Ted Drews
You can go tour in Anheuser-Busch you can go to the train museum come during the summer so you can catch one of the best baseball teams in the United States the St. Louis Cardinals The only other team with more wins are those silly Yankees the number two are the St. Louis Cardinals
I can go on and on there’s a lot of things to come and see in Missouri we have lots of state parks we have lots of lakes we have lots of museums there’s a lot to do in St. Louis Lots of good food if you want to get out in nature there’s plenty of nature you can go to elephant rock and climb all the rocks You can go camping we have a lovely campgrounds ️
You never know about the weather here but the one thing about the weather here if you don’t like it just wait a minute it’ll change If you come during the summer be prepared it’s gonna be hot and it’s going to be humid!!
There’s so many things to do between C and St. Louis going to Kansas City Branson are hitting up a lot of the little small towns along the way And hitting all the antique shops Farmers market We have it all!!!

1. Wooden pencils -- especially Black Warriors and America's Pencil. I do not like mechanical pencils. I use a Panasonic electric sharpener, but amazed my daughter when I showed her that I still know how to sharpen a pencil with a knife.
2. Rulers and tape measures
3. Fettuccine and linguini -- love the long flat pastas

I’ve been to Missouri twice…maybe three times. I have some great memories from our visits but nothing really Missouri specific. So, long and thin it is!

Extension cords- I still need to finish putting up the outside holiday lights display but none of it would happen without extension cords. In fact, the inside displays have quite a few as well.

Leash- I walk too far to bring along our dog but I encounter lots of people who have their dogs out for a walk along the way. While I’m sure most of them are sweet I’m happy those leashes keep me from finding out the hard way that some are not.

Noxgear vest- It’s made of long thin fiber optic tubes that light up like neon lights. It helps me be visible in the dark.

Afternoon all,

Going back to a few days ago, I've realised there is one thing I'm grateful for about winter - when going out walking, you don't have to worry about whether your hair is washed or presentable as a woolly hat helps cover all sins

But back to today:

1. Spaghetti & tagliatelle - they go with 2 of my favourite pasta dishes, carbonara and a smoky meatball dish.

2. Extension leads - another vote for these as without them I wouldn't be able to use some of my cleaning equipment outdoors.

3. Thread - without this I wouldn't be able to patch up any clothing or other items to make them as good as new.

1. Crayola markers regular and thin, Mr. Sketch scented markers, and Expo unscented white board markers.

Where’s the MO love ? Have none of you been to the Show Me State ??? You don’t know what you’re missing!!!
The Muny in Forest Park they put on place just like they doing Broadway they do it during the summer so you can sit outside in the beautiful St. Louis Summer heat and enjoy your Broadway show
Forest Park it’s a lovely park like Central Park in New York just just a tad a bit smaller you can watch Shakespeare in the park during the summer
You can go to a planetarium we have a lovely planetarium they have a beautiful science center we have the magic house there’s all kinds of things to do that’s just in St. Louis you don’t know what you’re missing
Did I mention we have a Six Flags I think I did it’s a really nice Six Flags too
They have a waterpark with it
And if you want to get outside of St. Louis there’s all kinds of things to do outside of St. Louis too
Have I mentioned Branson?? You can do just about anything in Branson world class shows and entertainment silver dollar city is in Branson

The Mississippi River - took a short cruise on it
The Jefferson National Expansion Memorial
The Clydesdales horses we saw at Grants farm

Missouri
General Pershing birth place and I visited there after leaving the military institution of his history at The Long Gray Line

Samuel Clemons birth place in Hannibal...as a literature teacher had to stop though the trivia question is that huckleberry Finn was not written there but in the pasture next to my great great grandfather pasture

And speaking of Marceline...the 1,000 point trivia question is not his birth place but what he donated to the elementary school... careful..a trick question
