Shoes (I am a shoe lover, so this is tough!!!)
Good running shoes - Not only can a good pair keep you comfy on your feet for hours and miles on end, good ones should be good to go right out of the box. I think about Disney trip advice and people talking about breaking in shoes ahead of a trip, but that is completely unnecessary if you're in a good pair of shoes. If anything, breaking them in just wastes mileage in the peak cushioning period.
Fun Shoes - Oh I love a fun pair of shoes! My brain first went to this pair of platform combat boots I own with gold hardware, but I was also reminded of this really fun pair of purple suede platforms I used to have. I adored the shoes...had to have them...but I never found much of anything that matched them.
Winter boots - This is an area that I like to be both fun and functional. Some even cross over into summer hiking territory.
Black & White
A good black and white cookie - This was always a treat growing up and Zabars has some of my faves. There are a couple of places that sell them locally but they're just not as good.
Pianos - While those eight different teachers never got through to me so I could play, I certainly relied heavily on people playing for me while I sing. Of course, there are some wonderful piano pieces.
Spectators - A little nod back to the shoe category, but I love a spectator shoe. I used to have a pair of loafers that I adored. I'd love to find a nice pair of spectator oxfords with a chunky heel.
Green
Forests - With the time change, I'm out walking on weekdays as the sun is coming up. I see the forest around me shift to green as the light starts to hit the trees.
DD18s room - She's home for spring break so I have had more reason to go into her two-tone green room over the last couple of days.
Avocado - I really love avocados. I have even switched to avocado mayo.
