Three Things...Gratitude Thread

Good Saturday Morning!

#1 - My Bowl of Cereal - I’m always grateful to have milk to put in the bowl. I’ll be eating this in about 5 minutes 🙂👍🏻

#2 - My Protein Drink - I make it with milk after every workout.

#3 - Mashed Potatoes - Helps make them creamy. I actually haven’t had mashed potatoes in a long time.

The glass I pour me a big ole helping of milk into ❤️❤️ I love a cold glass of milk !!!! I try and drink a glass every day - I can’t tell by the shape of my bones but I do love milk!!

Pudding!!! Especially chocolate pudding !!!
Cake again especially chocolate cake🤣🤣
I’d be all day listing dessets you get the picture!!

Mashed Potatoes for sure SLO !!!

Gravy - milk gravy yummy I don’t have it very often but upon occasion it’s really tasty

This is tough because I’m not a milk drinker and usually opt for heavy cream or whipping cream in things that require “liquid dairy.” I even opt for unsweetened soy “milk” if I find myself craving cereal. Let’s see…

Chocolate milk- I think it was gymnast, Aly Raisman, who shared that it was her recovery drink of choice. We found that quite a few athletes sing the praises of it. So, it’s something we keep handy for DD16.

Commercials- I might not enjoy drinking it, but I loved all of those 80s PSA style commercials where the kids drink milk and grow up to be someone who wows their present day adversaries.

Employment- While it really doesn’t have a major impact on my career, I know the dairy industry and our overall consumption/use of milk is an income source for countless people. So, milk sustains life beyond its nutritional benefits.

Note: out of the category, but it looks like this thread is back on the main Community page again, and I'm grateful for that.

I hadn't realized it was moved?!

I get to either through "Watched Threads" or "Your Threads" so I didn't notice the change.

But that would explain the light response rate lately.

Gift cards- specifically the ones at Costco that are sold at a discount and the fuel rewards for the ones purchased at Kroger.

Gym- I’m about to start week 5 of getting back into my workout routine and I’m grateful to have a home gym.

Green- High School softball season is about to start and our primary school color is green. So, there’s a lot of green in my very near future.

Gates...in our faux retirement community each lot has a Mexican brick wall fence with very sturdy metal gates... keeps our guard dogs safe...and the Amazon driver

Gopher snakes of the Sonoran desert variety.. beautiful creatures

Grand canyon.. never been.. never will.PBS is showing winter pictures of the canyons....and when you are a alphabet book Disneyland kid... train 🚂 🚂 🚂 ride can go round and round on a single ticket... for that I am very grateful

Bath scrubs - love these they are a nice treat

Warm Towels !!!! Ultimate luxury to get out of the shower into a nice warm towel

Space heaters - That way I can make my bathroom 5000° so I can take me a shower I can’t stand a cold bathroom if I ever won the lottery I would install heated floors🤣🤣 seriously I cannot take a shower without heating up my bathroom to level most people couldn’t stand and then I take a boiling hot shower

Rubber ducks they’re the cutest little things and I especially enjoy seeing them on cruises it’s just the most darling idea is to hide these little rubber ducks all over the ship!!! 🚢

Happy Monday Friends

#1 - Scented Body Wash - I don’t have to have anything expensive or fancy. I actually really like Soft Soap scents and buy them when on sale.

#2 - Hot Water - So grateful for hot water, especially this time of year.

#3 - Shower Cap - I only wash my hair twice a week, so I use a shower cap a lot. My shower cap travels with me - I don’t leave home without it.

Another vote for hot water! - Our hot water heater died a few months ago. As painful as a new one is to the budget, you realize how much you appreciate hot water when you go to get clean and the warmest you can get is cool water.

Walk in Shower - It's nice not having to hurdle a bathtub getting in and out, but it's also great for washing the dog. She just walks right in without the stress and drama of trying corral a larger dog and lift her into a traditional tub.

Wand - When we redid the bathrooms, I wanted to make sure at least one of them got a wand attachment. We don't use it as much as I thought I would, but it is a gamechanger for washing the dog.

Cold water...the ground heats up real fast in Yuma so the pipe no longer cold and the water warms to where the cold shower faucet is what we use to bathe from June to October ... wife likes hot showers so first thing in morning she has 30 seconds of cool water from pipes not in the ground

Glass doors as opposed to curtains... winter bathing dogs can't escape

Glad that I am a man ... wife has 5 bottles of hair products stored all over in the shower

Another with hot water on my list!

Fun/quirky shower curtains - Right now, I still have a gingerbread one up from Christmas, but in the past, I've had Mickey mouse, a map of the world, and even Pi to a huge number of digits.

Pink soap that takes me instantly back to my grandmother's house.
