Three Things...Gratitude Thread

Again Spaceman I thought it said mischievous and I said good for you go against the grain🤣🤣🤣 I don’t know what’s wrong with me today🤣🤣
I’m wishing your brother a very healthy and speedy recovery!! Praying he’s feeling better soon!!

Blue castle - I hope you’re feeling better soon too and have a very speedy recovery nothing worse than trying to recover from surgery and it’s 1000° outside makes you feel miserable!! Been there done that!! I’m praying you feel better soon!!!

That way you both can have your mischievous things to post that you’re grateful for!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Good Tuesday Morning

#1 - Puzzles - It’s one of my peaceful and quiet activities. Now that DD20 is moved out, I need to buy myself a new puzzle to work on.

#2 - Peanut Butter - One of my top 3 foods to eat. I love love love peanut butter.

#3 - Pinterest - One of my favorite places to find new recipes.

Sorry, I'm going to have more than 3 for this one! 🤣

Picnics - One of our favorite things to do in the summer and early fall.
Parks - We alway's love taking road trips to national and state parks.
Pumpkin Pie - My favorite.
Pizza - Who doesn't love a good pizza!
Peanut Butter - One of the most consumed items in our house.
Plants - Guilty of being a "crazy plant lady" always looking for a new one to add to my collection.
Peaches - One of my favorite fruits.

Amen to peace and quiet and puzzles. My beloved late grandma loved Reese's peanut butter cups so I will always be grateful to them. Dad and I God willing one day will go on a picnic and perhaps bring an adopted rescue puppy (or older dog) with us.

Above all else by my faith, Prince of Peace, my Savior Jesus.

People! I believe at heart people have kind ones. I sure am blessed to know a kind group of such people in all of you.

Pastor Louise. A friend I am most grateful fir.

Pancakes of course.

Paperback books.

Last but never least my sincere appreciation always with a hug to my friend, our very own, PollyannaMom.

Miscellaneous:
1. Home Depot was open until 10 last night. Working on a remodeling project and DH wanted to run out at 8:50. I figured they closed at either 8 or 9, but no it was 10. We got what we needed with time to spare.
2. Tomato plants are producing right now.
3. Amazon and the ease of Amazon returns.

P things:
1. Peonies—my favorite flower
2. Pistachios—probably my favorite nut.
3. @PollyannaMom for starting this thread and keeping it on track every day—thank you!

My mom's maiden name is a P name...so grateful for everyone in our family that had that name.

Plush mattresses- I get my best sleep on a plush mattress. With all of the travel we've done over the last two months, I've been pretty lucky this summer that we didn't wind up in a place with firm beds.

Palisade- It's kind of funny that this is even a thing. I went SUV shopping back in March of 2020, a couple of days before everything shut down for Covid. I test drove a Palisade, but didn't love it and ended up buying a VW Atlas. That Atlas was a lemon. It was a frustrating and long process that forced me to revisit all of my vehicle research. While not perfect (what is?) the Pali has served us well. I'm currently missing her again. She's back into the collision center because they messed up a number of things when doing the storm repairs. I am praying I get her back before I need to drive DD17 to college next week. DH has a truck (brand new but needs to go back into the shop because the tech is so new nobody knows how to fix it- supposedly just a code error-nothing really wrong) and he can take her, but we'd both prefer if it's me. We had originally planned on both going, but DD15 starts school tomorrow and DD17s move in date next week is a school day. So, someone needs to be home for her. In any event, I'm really grateful that my Pali has been so good for us in our travels.

PollyannaMom! Thank you for taking care of this thread and in the process, taking care of us. :)

Peace: all kinds, peace of mind, peace and quiet, and peace on Earth.

Pasta: I can’t eat much of it, but watching my DGD loving it since she was a year-old has been so much fun. When she was a baby, she would hum while she ate it. :) (as did her mom)
