Three Things...Gratitude Thread

C

1. Cantaloupe- I'm not a huge fan of eating it, but can remember stopping at Jimmy's Produce as a kid with my grandma. You could always smell them and Granny would buy one.

2. Clorox - well, pandemic.

3. Curiosity - without it we would not have the inventions, medicine, creativity, etc., if people aren't curious about the world around them and how to improve it.

C Things

1. One of my daughter’s has a “C” name. She was our “oops” baby, but I am grateful we have her. She definitely completed our family.

2. Chocolate: not a big sweets eater, but chocolate is my weakness. Especially paired with a bit of salty—like a chocolate covered pretzel.

4. Christmas: my favorite time of year. I love the spirit of the season, the excitement, the preparation…

Another for coffee & chocolate!

Also computers, without which we wouldn't have this amazing message board!

And the inspiration for today's topic is that my brother's name starts with C, and today's his birthday! 🥳 - We live quite far from each other now, but I'm grateful for childhood memories together, and texts and calls now. He's also nearer to where my folks live, so I'm grateful for all the help he gives to them, which means I worry less!

3 things you're grateful for begging with the letter C

Above and beyond, first and foremost forever, Christ!

1 Champ my beloved dog who is now an agnel of God serving Him with doggie joy,

2 Cards. Being able to I pray spread faith, comfort, and friendship, cheer through cards and notes especially right now during the ongoing pandemic, is a teeny way I am able to serve from home. PM me if you would enjoy a postcard :)

3 Cocoa! I don't drink coffee but sure do love my Kroger brand hot chocolate. Of course, that goes so well every so often with a cookie!

Wishing all of you a good day! :)

Good Afternoon Everyone!!!

#1 - I'm grateful for Christ and his never ending love for each of us

#2 - I'm grateful for all the different types of Cameras throughout the years.

#3 - I'm grateful for my Coffee every morning - I can't start the day without it.

I love that you love cards! I think they can give the recipient such a boost ...knowing that someone is thinking of you can be such a comfort.

And I'm with you on the hot chocolate instead of coffee, especially if it comes with a warm, fresh choc chip cookie! :thumbsup2

Music:
I am a music lover. I sang in choirs my entire life from early childhood on. I minored in Music in college, and use music daily as a part of my teaching routines. I love nearly every music genre. So, I am thankful for:
1. Singing all musical genres from my heart and soul
2. Teaching music to children
3. Using music daily to teach, relax, celebrate, and fully enjoy life.

C:
1. Cape Cod, one of the most heavenly places on earth where I feel close to God, my deceased parents, and can relive my childhood memories
2. Coffee, the nectar of the gods

3. Classroom, my happy place where I hopefully make the lives of kindergartners better every day

I'm thankful for the lighthearted and supportive nature of this thread.

I'm thankful for my car. ...Apart from the mobility it allows me, I appreciate that point, after a busy day, when you get to put down any bags and 'breathe out' in your own warm, dry space. 🚗

I'm thankful for showers. I'm not really a bath person - I like a refreshing shower. 🚿
