A Wednesday morning topic dear to my heart! I love old fashioned snail mail! I truly pray to be of service and witness to God through it when I'm able to send. I just wish postage were cheaper! During the last few years, for me, being able to I pray spread extra faith, encouragement, and fun, love through the Pony Express sure has come to mean all the more to me. A tiny thing I can do to perhaps bring a smile to someone's face and in so doing I pray bring extra Glory to God. Please PM me any of lovely you friends, if you'd ever like a postcard or card from LA. It would bring me joy to send one to you. Thank you to all who do send out notes and card and teach kiddos the importance of thank you notes and simply saying thank you in other ways! As I have said before, each day is a precious blessing. Please don't ever wait to tell someone thank you for their presence in your life and that they matter to you! All of you are important to and appreciated by me that is for sure!
Stationary specifics
1 Memory of my beloved late Grandma sending me a favorite greeting card during my college years. It showed a dog on a ladder looking into a house window that said something like, "Just looking in on you to see how you are doing." I would then try to buy the same card to send back to her. Not about the card All about love and God's extra gift to us of one another in Him. I do have saved in scrapbooks some cards from my Grandparents (wish I had more) and over the course of the pandemic, have been saving all cards from my dear Dad. He is so sweet to in turn save mine to him in his own card scrapbook that I help him keep updated. Bobbiwoz, over the years, I also culled through photo boxes of saved cards and albums, too, rereading and deciding what to keep, It is always fun to look back on an extra loving hug in print through a card!
My only word of caution to all of you when culling cards or photos is to please not make the same mistake I did so many years ago! I had two identical white trash bags intended for cards or notes I was keeping to be placed into new scrapbooks and cards I was ready to let go of. It was later in the evening I remember and by the time I was done sorting, I was thankful to be done with that task. Only trouble is, you got it
Two identical bags+ a tired me=tossing the wrong bag! That's okay, though. How blessed I was to receive the cards/notes to begin with and more importantly God's Grace to me in the people He gave me in my life who sent them. Like Grandma and My favorite dog card or another card Dad and I would send each other, it's not about the card. All about my being grateful to God for His Love period and extra through the cards He has asked be sent to and I pray by me. Small things, friends, make such a difference to someone.

2 Those of you who have gotten mail from me know my appreciation of stickers! Faith That Sticks Brand is a main favorite of mine. The only types I don't care for are glitter, stinky/scented along with Shopkin type expressions, more emoji style. I just want old fashioned, simple, and happy, uplifting
Stickers, to me, are a simple way to add an extra touch of personalized faith and fun to a greeting. Pre pandemic, I so enjoyed sharing/using stickers with kids at church in different ways, during summer camps especially.
3 Paper Mate flair pens have been a wonderful way to brighten up a note!
