Three Things...Gratitude Thread

Happy Saturday to all!

I’m not a big breakfast person, but some things I’m grateful for:

Dannon Light & Fit Greek yogurt. Coconut is my favorite flavor, but I also like blueberry or raspberry.

Berries - blueberries, raspberries and blackberries. I eat mixed berries almost every day and usually mixed in my yogurt.

Cheerios (original). My favorite cereal as a kid and I still love it, but don’t eat it too often these days.

An extra one - I love making sausage gravy and biscuits for my family on a Sunday morning because they love it. I do, too, but it’s a rare treat for me.

Breakfast

1. Have to channel Bobbi - cheese omelets for sure!!! I like them flat, not puffy. :)

2. Honey nut cheerios. You could probably fill the Grand Canyon with the amount I've eaten. Funny, I like plain now.

3. Peanut butter toast. I couldn't survive without it. I think I've mentioned before, but sprinkle it with a bit of sugar for an amazing extra treat.

Breakfast - well I like it for dinner 👍
I can’t eat first thing in the morning even on vacation I’m more a Brunch person - I often skip breakfast - I’m up at 5 but don’t eat until 10 at the earliest

I enjoy most breakfast foods with one huge exception - Hot cereal 🤮🤮 can’t stand it - taste or smell

French Toast ❤️❤️
Eggs Benedict ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Breakfast Hash ❤️❤️
Pancakes ❤️❤️
Cinnamon Rolls ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Bagel & Cream Cheese ❤️❤️❤️
Corn Chex - dry - I will eat this for breakfast in morning
Granola Bar - peanut butter

Again - I often eat Breakfast as Dinner - rarely unless it’s a bday or holiday do I eat it for breakfast for breakfast - I usually only eat one meal a day late afternoon and have a snack around 10 and another around 8 - snack could be piece of fruit or some cheese & honey with some fruit

...I am not a traditional breakfast eater, as I really also enjoy leftovers for breakfast. Not above enjoying left over pizza in the morning.
😋😋 Leftover pizza for breakfast, yum!
3. Peanut butter toast. I couldn't survive without it. I think I've mentioned before, but sprinkle it with a bit of sugar for an amazing extra treat.
😋😋 Peanut butter toast - but for me with a smear of Marmite - yum!
Breakfast - well I like it for dinner 👍
😋😋 What is it about leftover dinner for breakfast and, then, breakfast for dinner?! Yum!

Breakfast

I'm team omelette-a well made cheese one is good, although I usually get mine with "stuff" and French-style, not the browned American type (The veggie omeletter from Steakhouse 71 at the Contemporary is a favorite of mine)

Avocado toast -thank you, millennials!

Post shredded wheat (or most any unsugared, whole grain, low sodium cereal)

Bonus: crispy hashbrowns with country sausage gravy (lest the earlier items leave you thinking I'm some sort of health nut 🤣)

YES!!!! (Much to DH befuddlement, I do this all the time).

In my 20s, my roommate and I would often have a pancake dinner. Great times!

And leftover pizza is such a godsend when I just can't handle making something for breakfast or I'm up at 5 am and want some quiet me time so need to be as silent as possible (DH is a *very light* sleeper).

Happy Saturday everyone, now besides us having a treat get together we need to combine it with breakfast!

🥞which I enjoyed earlier. I may have shared previously how much I enjoy Kroger Brand from Ralphs pancakes with Target Market Brand Syrup. No butter ir toppings just plain and only 3 very small, half dollar sized cakes. Dad and I do have fun with trying to use cookie cutters to make celebration or seasonal shaped pancakes.

I don't drink coffee or tea. I love Kroger Brand Dutch Milk Hot Chocolate made with milk. Never saw the appeal for me, of course, of hot chocolate flavored water. Pancakes and a small (7oz or so) mug of cocoa are my favorite breakfast or sometimes lunch :)

I am a very simple, boring to many, and basic eater. I do enjoy Thomas plain Mini (With my tmj, mini bagels are much less chewy than regular thicker bagels) Bagels with cream cheese🥯for breakfast, lunch, or with a scrambled 🥚for dinner.

When I was younger and able to do more food chewing, Cheerios were my very favorite. I also loved Golden Grahams. For a few years, sugar or the sweetened version of cornflakes were tasty, too.

Here's to our, God willing, one day breakfast/cookie, etc. Party! :)
