Three Things...Gratitude Thread

I bet you couldn't wait to pick out your school supplies when you were a kid!

Nothing like picking out your Trapper Keeper for the year!

Oops, I don't know how old you are :D
Buying your own school supplies isn't a big thing over here, but if it were, it would have been a silver lining to the start of a new school year!

I've never heard of a Trapper Keeper. Not because I wasn't around in the 80s ;);), but because I think they're specifically American?
3. Breaks—I enjoy little breaks in the daily routine—big ones like vacations and weekend getaways and little ones like lunch with a friend or a nap on the weekends.
Breaks! Brilliant one!

Happy Monday DIS Friends

#1 - I’m grateful to have been a bride 28 years ago - our wedding day was perfect.

#2 - I’m grateful for every breath I take - it’s good to be alive!!

#3 - I’m grateful when we have bright sunny days - we have so little of them this time of year

Wow how ironic

As I’ve gotten older I tolerate noise less and less - I had little to bring with ❤️🤣

I appreciate nice quiet restaurants where you can sit and chat in peace

I love siting outside and hearing the birds chirp and sign - makes me happy

From day one when they came out - I LOVE my Apple IPhone - there is no other phone for me ❤️❤️❤️❤️ not saying I love all the constant changes - I’m old I don’t 🤣🤣

I like that it's easy to message, so I don't always have to make phone calls! :D

Same as eksmama, I like being woken gently by a phone (well, I use an ipad mini, but same difference!), rather than a bone-rattling alarm clock!!

Mobile/cell phones aren't my favorite thing, but I will admit they are very handy.

And like WDWEPCOT, I enjoy tranquility. 🤫

ITA first and foremost about tranquility! What a simple and vital blessing truly :) Loud and constant noise and TMJ=do not mix at all. In fact, the last time, I was at DL, pre pandemic, I remember writing to guest services after asking them to please turn the volume down on some specific rides such as the Railroad and Alice in Wonderland. Both were just so loud! Blessing to be able to hear and of course experience DL. Too much noise all-around=not positive!

Connection and definitely the handiness of being able to text.

I'm old fashioned and prefer using a desktop computer. A phone does come in handy for quicker email or Disboard checks especially when I just want to stay cozier on the couch and not get on the computer!

I have never been a fan of having my own picture taken. How handy it is to be able to instantly see pictures taken on a phone of anything and if need be, try again! Would have made a world a difference to me growing up and perhaps allowed for more positive family memories in photo. God willing, Dad and I will be able to add to our scrapbook of memories of times of joy together for years in health ahead together. That said, it is more important to me to remember to cherish each moment period and be in it with a grateful heart--no camera needed.

Have a Tigger-iffic:tigger:Tuesday, Friends.

1. Fulfills so many roles in 1 small little package—internet, phone, calendar, alarm, recipe book, camera, calculator, map that speaks, pedometer, music holder and player and games.
2. Keeps me connected to DH, DDs and my dad.
3. Battery usually lasts all day.
