THREE Dumbos?

Since the recent D23 event ended,I have read reports that it was announced that once DumboX2 opens,the EXISTING Dumbo will REMAIN and be moved to the Teacups area meaning there will then be THREE Dumbos at WDW.

Are these reports accurate or did theses reports "misinterpet" the info and all that was said was that DUMBOx2 would be in the area above the Teacups?Thanks.

I've heard there will be 2 Dumbos... the existing one and a new one.

Along with a tented queue area with interactive activities.

I've heard there will be 2 Dumbos... the existing one and a new one.

Based on what I've read and seen I think this is misinterpeting the info.
Yes there will be two.
Yes there will be the existing one.
And yes there will be a new one.
But that doesn't add to three.

The existing one will stay open as long as possible while the second is being built. Then moved to it's new location.
Thus the existing one will remain and a new one of Dumbo x2.

I don't see them removing Teacups competely for a ride that will be at another location. And I've not seen or heard anything to suggest it's going to a new location.

As for the location, they were really hesitant to say where Dumbo is really going to be located. And, even though they mentioned in the newest issue of D23 that the Barnstormer would be re-themed with a clown/circus theme, they also said nothing was set in stone and that they were still considering ideas.

Nothing anyone said at the D23 event was very.. informative. They didn't really give any answers or new information at all.

I knew that THREE Dumbos didn't "sound" right.LOL

I had always thought that DumboX2 would be two NEW Dumbos and the existing Dumbo would be "retired".Thanks for the info that it will be one new Dumbo and the existing Dumbo.

I went on the Keys to the Kingdom tour last week and they actually had artwork of the new Fantasyland in the tunnels that we toured. Our guide said that there will be two dumbos, with an air conditioned waiting area.

Oh yeah, our tour guide did say that Mickey and Minnie's house will be gone but he said they were building an air conditioned line for Mickey on the right when you first walk into Main Street. (By the Kodak building? I think that's what it is.)
