Three Days To Make A Decision?

Never to be outdone by a LI er. Leave it to us to find any loophole. Now we just have to figure one out for our taxes LOL.

just call in the evening of the 3rd day after 9pm. then your guide won't be there and tell them you would like to do it. then watch the caller id for a few days and don't answer when they call. My guide told me as long as i called before midnight of that 3rd day that I would be ok. That for me was a monday and I called back on friday to purchase.

I love it!

... once you give DVC your info, they keep it for years!

Absolutely true!

We originally began looking into DVC when VWL was $73 per point (I know, I can hear the sighs :faint:). Unfortunately, some things happened & we weren't able to purchase at the time. I kept the info pack & business card for our guide. When we were ready I called & he still had all our info on file - kids names, ages, everything. We finally became members in 2004 so I'm guessing 3 years went by?

The point is I went in April 2005! They had all my information (address, telephone number, and even who my guide was) in their computer and it seems I still got the same "deal" as the 3 day pressure sale. Love Disney, HATE PRESSURE!
BTW, I just signed a contract with a timeshare resaler for 200 points a lot less than $90, got 300 banked points. Including adding in closing cost, I saved $875 over Disney, plus got 100 extra points. Just a thought....

What the OP will risk losing is the current incentive after 3 days. You did not get what you were offered last April, you received the current price and incentive. Last April, SSR was cheaper than $98ppt minus $8 and you did get the previous years points also.

Just a note also, that resales can be a great deal, but ROFR determines how much you really save, not the contract. Lots of PD for your purchase :wizard:
