I am enjoying some peace and quiet. My DS10 just took my DS7 upstairs to read a book to him. Sometimes they can be so sweet and sometimes they can be !

Spent half my day being annoyed with my son's mom. She gets him most weekends and we always call and confirm pick up times with her the night before. Called her last night, and she tells us 2pm. Sat around here all day waiting for her to get here. She finally calls DH at 4:20 and says she'll be here soon. She drives me absolutely insane. I just love wasting 3 hours of my time because she just can't keep her word. I swear it's all a game to her. I know part (most) of the reason why we have so many problems with DS.

I can't stand it when people are late! This is what I feel like doing but I usually just smile and say that's OK. I'm not big on confrontation.

Normally, being a little late isn't a big deal. 15-30 minutes, no big deal. But we tried calling her after a while and of course, got the answering machine. If she would just call and say she's going to be late, I wouldn't have the slightest bit of problem.

Hello and how is everyone this evening?

I hope everyone is having a great start to the weekend. finally got a night off and don't you know I am spending fighting with my husband (or at this point we are not speaking). It is a great way to spend my day off. I work until 10-11pm at night and my husband insists on coming to meet me when I get off work to walk me to my car. I have to park a couple of blocks away from my job and walk. He has to get up at 6am so by the time we get home at night and he gets to sleep it is alwys after midnight. He is over tired from doing this and GROUCHY. I am frankly sick of his crap. It is like he had PMS all the time. I told him from now on I will walk myslf to my car or make sure I walk out with someone from work.


I am pages behind, so is there anything special that has been happening with everyone?

How is Peppers dad doing? Good I hope.

Hey Kim!!! Oh what a way to spend your day off. I go through that kind of stuff with my DH. I'm a night owl always have been. He has to get up for work at 4am. He tries to stay up with me after the kiddos are in bed and then pays for it the next day. C R A B B Y is not the word for it. I know he's trying to be sweet and all that but I just can't get it through his thick head that I would rather have him go to bed early all week and stay up late once a week. Men!!!

Pepper checked in earlier in the week and all seems well so far. Her dad is still very positive about what is going on. I think he did get referred to another doctor of his choosing.

whgrn was suppose to leave for a riverboat cruise in a couple of weeks but that got all messed up because of the flooding. She had to scramble for plane tickets and had a few days to fill on her vacation. Her sister is visiting and she wants to spend as much time as possible with her.

Yesterday was D&DDisney's 16th wedding anniversay.
M&N is gone for the weekend. Visiting her mom.
MagiKitty's nephew and niece (?) is visiting and the "evils" are here.

I think that's it. At least that's all I can remember right now.

Nothing exciting. Vaccuming, dishes, laundry, etc. I wanted to mop the floors today but it's been so humid that it would take forever for them to dry. I'll try tomorrow. I have company coming over tomorrow night at 6:00p for cake and ice cream to celebrate my b-day! It was offically today. I am now the big

! I was hoping my ipod would arrive today but it didn't. Maybe Monday. I am so not looking forward to Monday (other then I might get the ipod!). It will be the first time that I have to take kids with me grocery shopping since school got out. I can just hear it now. "Can I get candy?" "Can I buy legos?" "Can I, Can I, Can I?
