Hey racetrack18kb, did you notice on that other thread that kim said she was watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with her kid? Great minds or what!

Hi Shmu!

Jumping into the TGM convo. I checked him out a while back but wasn't interested in spending the money. Guess I made a wise decision!

I saw that too. Too bad it's over and my kids are arguing again.

Despite what we have said about TGM tonight, his service can be really good. I look at it as buying another tourbook in the bookstore. DD12 went to Disney in April and had to follow the park schedule of the chaperones. She hit line after line and missed alot of stuff. I like his advice and he actually gives you the reason why you should do things a certain way. I can adjust my schedule and know I won't miss much if anything. I don't know how many times you've been there, but if you ever want some help with that kind of stuff, pm me. I'd be glad to help.

PS. Don't tell anyone, I might get in trouble for that. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

This will be my 3rd year using his site and I think after this year, I'm done. He doesn't update enough for my taste. Doesn't he still have Hollywood Studios as MGM on there? I hope your "stalker" isn't looking over your shoulder because I just might copy and paste all his info for the best days, tour plans, etc into my own computer. I think I've learned enough of his style of touring to co-ordinate dates and days of the week.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: Why that's sacrilege!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I'd better....

I actually bought a 1 year subscription to Touring Plans. They show which days are the best for which parks and give you suggestions on which rides to go on when. (Kinda like TGM) The website isn't very fancy and since we are going in Dec when it's not really busy I figure it should work pretty well. We discovered Touring Plans about 2 weeks before we went on our Dec 2006 trip(1st and only trip until this Dec) and just used the "the best day to go to which park" part of the site. We did alot of Park Hopping as we didn't know about finding out which days are the best and then making your ADRs for that park on that day. Everything worked out great though!

I will definitely PM you if I need help. Any help is always welcomed!

What does your schedule look like? Are you going the week of Thanksgiving? I did mine without the LCP and had to make ADR's too. I only had to switch 2 days and a couple of ADR's to have it "all green". Actually, I got a better lunch ADR for our Epcot day than orginally planned.

I guess I should say Ya'lls schedule-Pikester, it looks like we will be there at around the same time. What days are you going?

Back is killing me and computer is running slow. I'm going to say good night and I'll stop by tomorrow!

Hey Guys,
Would you please excuse me? I'm not feeling so great so I think I should take myself off to bed.

I will check back in in the am.
Sorry to leave in the middle of a conversation.

My goodness you guys made up for lost time!!! I checked in at around 7 last night, and now its morning and there's about 4 or 5 new pages.

Happy Birthday Pikester!!!
Welcome Disney.Dreamer!!!

We watched Willy Wonka last night too (I like the original better... I'd never seen this one.)

Kim - Sorry about DH. They certainly do have their moments. But, they have their good moments too.

Hope everyone has a good day, and I'll check back in later.

Gene Wilder will always be Willy Wonka to me. Johnny Depp's version totally creeped me out! I think the funniest part of the Johnny Depp one was when the puppet band was welcoming the kids (reminded me of It's a Small World) and they caught on fire.

Thank you lighttech for the welcome!!
I was taking a look at the new DVC building at the Contemporary and ick...seriously.

Good Morning!

Good Morning to you too! I was happy to hear that your dad is doing well. Love your smilie!

Anybody have any ideas for party food that doesn't need to be refridgerated?
We're heading up to Mass. to visit my BILs parents and family for a big family picnic. I want to bring something, but w/ the multi-hour drive we won't get there until the early am before the party, so I'd like to have something pre-made. Also, I was hoping to not have to drag a cooler along.

I guess something along the lines of chex mix, but maybe a little more original?

Thanks!
