Hey everyone!!! What's new?

Pikester-You read "smut" books?! I haven't read those type of books for a long time. Sounds like the horror movies though. They always do dumb things are you just know they are giong to get killed. There is no common sense.

whgrn- if I don't catch you before you leave, have a great trip.

We are not doing anything for the 4th. Just going to hang out at home. DH will throw some steaks on the grill and we'll just chill for the day. We can actually watch the fireworks from out house and then the kids will do some sparklers. Just a nice relaxing day.

Update: I have made an executive decision and NOT going to pick up the boys at 2am. They're going to make it to Manhattan and stay with my sister overnight. She'll then put them on the train in the morning and I'll pick them up at the outlets. It works out much better for everyone involved. I'm getting cranky-pants and wouldn't be a very good host, especially at 2am!

MUCH better idea! I just got a call from my DD (she went to a Yankees game with her father0 They missed the train, so they were getting on the 11:31, and expect to be home at about 1 am! This is my kid who needs 11 hours of sleep! NOT gonna happen tonite! I'm So glad she slept late today--got up around 10:45. She's gonna be a BEAR tomorrow! AND we have to get up at 6:30 Saturday to go to the airport...

OH!!! I remembered what I wanted to tell you all. Don't download Smilie Central. Put one heck of a Trojan virus on my laptop. Our security softwear when I did a scan found it in that directory. Bummer I was excited about having a little smilie on my toolbar I could just click.

I am enjoying the smile games though!! How fun!

Good to "see" everyone, I will be putzing around tonight checking in from time to time.

Wendy, what are you doing up now? Your DD sounds like mine. She likes to sleep alot.... just at the wrong times. Just like her mom who should be in bed now instead of messing around with the photos on her computer.

I finally downloaded the 2 pics we bought from Hershey. They do the ride photo at the end of the tour of the Chocolate Factory.

M&N, me, DH and DD5...

The other one has DD12's friend in it and I don't want to post it without permission from her mom. All I can say was DD12's friend was great with my DD7

Oh, that's because after you go through the whole nice ride with catchy music, they warn you ahead of time that they are going to take your picture. You think it's at that moment but it's not! You know it's coming but not when you think it is. Nope, not the part with the cute little catchy song that everyone is singing along with and looking happy. It's the part when you know you have to get off the moving ride and step onto the non-moving part and hope you don't lose your balance and fall on you butt. And yet, I buy that ride photo everytime we are there.

Don't know how far you would want to travel to see fireworks on another night but Easton, Pa doesn't celebrate the 4th of July. The celebrate Heritage Day on July 13th. It's an all day event ending with fireworks. Here's a link for that too.

Happy 4th everybody! I'm at work, but I've got a short day today, which will be nice. For anyone who was following my fireworks saga. We did manage to catch a small show last night, so at least if nothing else works out, we've got one under our belts for the season.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY

WOW, quiet here today! Guess you're all out celebrating the 4th.

I was busy packing, and I'm all done!! YAY!!! So I pre-packed for round 2 of our trip. All the kids' clothes are folded and waiting for the suitcase, and my things are pulled and ready to fold. Still need a few things that will have to be washed the night we get home from the cruise. But not too much to do that night.

I packed gym clothes, sneakers, and a water bottle, so I can go to the gym and spend some time on the elliptical. I do NOT want to gain back any weight on this trip!

Well gang, that's it for me. Have a great week or so. I'll miss you! I'll check in if I can, but otherwise I'll be back on sometime the week of the 14th.
