You have to take the IMAGE and get rid of the AGE and add G so it looks like IMG for both of them.

Hot for Teacher?

You guys and your "name that tune" smilies!! Too funny! I've guessed a few of the easy ones, but I'm always WAY too late to be the first to answer.

Running crazy trying to get ready for vacation. I've got most of our stuff together to pack, just need a few more things. for some reason I'm really dragging it out. And I have to pack for another trip right on top of it! YUCK! (can you tell I HATE packing?)

I'm down another 4 pounds. I'm now officially the "skinny sister"!! hope that doesn't change over vacation...

Off to pack some more!

Have a great trip "Skinny Sister!" Good luck w/ the packing.

Is anybody up around the Saugerties area in NY? (near Woodstock) We'd like to try and catch some fireworks for DS (and me, quite honestly) on our way to Mass. since most of our 4th of July night will be spent in the car. We think we'll be around there about 9pm-ish which is when the fireworks displays seem to start.

But, in case we hit traffic or something and don't make it that far, that fast, I was trying to find a back up location w/ a fireworks display... somewhere South of Saugerties off of Rte87. (We know Saugerties has one going on that night.)

Kind of random, but I thought I'd throw it out there since we have a lot of N.Easterners around here.

My other option is to look into fireworks another weekend, but w/ everything so focused on the 4th right now, my searching has been fruitless. I don't know of any other area displays around me (South East PA) that happen any other time in July or August... seems like they are mostly centered around the 4th (which makes sense.) Hmmmmm... maybe I'll just have to go to DisneyWorld... :rotfl:

Gosh, I hope this works Lighttech! This is from my local paper....I'm southwest of Saugerties, but its considered "local"...kinda like all of upstate NY south of Albany and Syracuse. Let's see...

http://www.recordonline.com/apps/pbcs.dll/section?Category=COMM26

Did that link work? If not, try recordonline.com, there's a link for all the local Hudson Valley fireworks...

Looks like Newburgh is going to be your best bet. Something about fireworks on the water, but I don't know where that is (I only go to Newburgh to fly down to Orlando!) But maybe this is a good place to start???

PS--the boys just called. They missed their train. They won't be in until 2am!

What a great link Magikitty!!! Thank you so much. I'll look it over more later, but its really a cool little website... I wish our area was so organized.

I bet you wish "your boys" were that organized too! :rolleyes1 Sorry they missed their train... hope their not too cranky when they get in.

Don't know how far you would want to travel to see fireworks on another night but Easton, Pa doesn't celebrate the 4th of July. The celebrate Heritage Day on July 13th. It's an all day event ending with fireworks. Here's a link for that too.

Of course, Disney works too. :lmao:

Update: I have made an executive decision and NOT going to pick up the boys at 2am. They're going to make it to Manhattan and stay with my sister overnight. She'll then put them on the train in the morning and I'll pick them up at the outlets. It works out much better for everyone involved. I'm getting cranky-pants and wouldn't be a very good host, especially at 2am!

OH!!! I remembered what I wanted to tell you all. Don't download Smilie Central. Put one heck of a Trojan virus on my laptop. Our security softwear when I did a scan found it in that directory. Bummer I was excited about having a little smilie on my toolbar I could just click. :guilty:

I am enjoying the smile games though!! How fun!

Good to "see" everyone, I will be putzing around tonight checking in from time to time.
