Looks like I missed everyone. Was busy outside helping the kids catch lightning bugs. Actually, they were catching them and I was only the "official jar holder".

Bopsmom-That's so aweful about SIL. How can someone be so cold? They are HER children. You just don't do what she is doing once you become a mom. The children sound very lucky to have you and your DH in their lives to give them the love they seem to missing from their mom. And for your SIL, I only have one word for her.....KARMA!

Well, I'm as caught up as I'm gonna be. I don't think I can go back any further... and since I'll be computerless for the weekend, I'm sure I'll have plenty more to catch up on. Although, I do want to try and figure out Shmu's story. I hate to catch hints of anyone being nasty to children. And, I'm starting to pick up on the smiley game. I actually got The Lion Sleeps Tonight right away, but someone had beat me to it. (Its actually one of DSs fav songs right now... he knows it from the Lion King soundtrack. But, he calls it the "Weema Whip song.")

I have a question. If I were to call the show and get on the air (I know figure the odds lol) but if I did and I said "HI LIGHTECH!!!" would you be able to hear me? Of course I would never invade your privacy by saying who I was talking about...I was just curious so that should I decide to do such a thing you would know it was me.

Well, everyone would probably know its me since the Lighting dept only has 6 employees, and its part of my email address! Unfortunately, I wouldn't hear you most likely. We tend to work ahead of the live show, so I'm often in a diff't studio than where the show is (we have several in the buiding) where I can see the show on monitors, but not actually hear it. And, I'm OFF Saturday anyway!!! I SO need a break!

I dont' know what to do.
I guess that is why I''m telling ya'll.
I hate her, and I know that we shoudln't "hate" people but I can't help it.

I know we shouldn't "hate." But, its so hard when there are people we love so dearly involved. Especially children. ESPECIALLY children who need a little extra love and attention. I wouldn't in any way beat yourself up about your feelings on this one. Looking in from the outside I can try and say "Well, some people just don't have the coping skills." "It must be exhausting." And any other number of "the right" comments. But, when it comes right down to it, she may not have asked for this, but neither did her babies. And, if I was there witnessing it, I doubt I'd be very understanding either. I read about so many people here, even on our thread who are dealing w/ kids w/ all diff't manner of challenges, and the one common theme is that all of our children are loved unconditionally, deeply and fully.

So, to you, your DH and DB and those kiddies. They are lucky to have you guys. And a few extra for all the TKers out there raising their own or helping w/ the neices/nephews, friends, etc.

You have to take the IMAGE and get rid of the AGE and add G so it looks like IMG for both of them.

Ok, this post is going to be dumb but who cares. I need something to do while I'm waiting for my floors to dry.

I like to read those Harlequin and Silhouette books. (My DH calls them my smutt books! ) This sounds so stupid but I was getting ugly at the book I was just reading because the woman main character was being stupid. Why do they always make the woman in those book so dumb? She supposedly works for a detective agency type place, doesn't believe that the "killer" they have in custody is the one who killed her sister and could be after her but she still goes alone to her sister's apartment where the killing took place! DUH! Of course the killer is going to go get her there.

End of rant.
