MagiKitty-I haven't had one of those days in a while (knock on wood) but now that I have spoken of it, I know one will be coming. :lmao: That would drive me crazy if it was my travel agent. Like there isn't enough stress with planning a vacation without having to chase the travel agent all over. I've heard about Facebook but don't use for the exact reason you listed. If I wanted to be in touch with people from high school, I never would have lost touch in the first place.
Got these just for you....hope you feel better.

Thanks everyone for the support. Ordinarily I'm a half-glass-full (with sangria preferrably) kinda girl, but I'm really struggling today. I don't really know why, and just am waiting for whatever it is to get off of me and I can go back to my normal self.

Pikester, I cried a bit too during Wall-E. And how cute does Bolt look? But then again, I'm always a sucker for an animal movie.

Yeah, Facebook is the newest incarntion of MySpace. I'm one of the older cousins in the batch, and those younger ones sure know how to keep up on those websites! Its really the only way to know what's going on in their lives. I swear, I get more from those websites than an actual phone call!

I just try to stay away from those websites in general.

I got rejected from the Nike Tryout Panel. Looks like they're not interested in developing shoes for and the opinions of a middle-aged overweight female. Imagine that! :lmao:

I forgot to mention that I loved the "Short" that they showed before Wall-E. The magician and rabbit were hysterical!

Does anybody read the rumors board on here? I used to read it but it always seemed like there were no new posts. Anyways, I checked out today and there are rumors they may be adding a new option to the Dining Plan. They are refering to it as DDP Lite. You would get 2 CS meals, 2 snacks and a refillable mug per person. It would cost the same price as the current basic DDP with both the basic and deluxe going up in price.

I wish they would do something like this. All the sit down meals just don't work for us but I like having everything paid for before hand.

I didn't even know there was a rumour board!

I like the idea of DDP lite, that's usually the way BF and I do the parks. We're big snackers, like to munch throughout the day. We usually just get on CS at a time, but often, just to taste different things. I don't know if the DDP lite justifies the cost of approximately $40/person though. I'd like to see it a little cheaper.

But hey, I like to see EVERYTHING cheaper!

Oops, sorry. I went back to reread the prices and it would be 26.00 for the new option. If it would include everything that it is rumored to be especially the mug, it would be an incredible deal for us. We did the same as you last year a few times. Of course we would have to get at least 2 meals but we would still share just to get a taste of all the different offerings.

 Evening back at ya, Pikester.

Racetrack, if that rumour is true, I would LOVE it! $26 is completely reasonable, considering how much CS can cost you. Its like getting the snacks for free! And I like the refillable mug idea too. I had the Universal refillable mug last year, and boy did we use it! I also like the idea of recycling a mug (less waste), and its a great souvenir. In fact, I gave my Spongebob mug to my niece when we got back and she was thrilled!

PIIIKESTEEERRRR!!!!

I wanted to ask you, how did your kids likes Wall-E? We have been thinking of taking the kids this weekend.

Kids loved it! I kept looking over at DS7 and he always had a smile on his face. DS10 told me he had a good time too! I asked DS10 what he learned from the movie. He said, "Don't throw your garbage everywhere. We need to take care of the planet. Maybe someday we can build a ship that takes our garbage to the sun and incinerates it!" He's always thinking that one! :lmao:

Dang! I was going to post on a thread on the resort board about wearing your PJs to get breakfast in the morning but it was too scary! What do you ladies think about wearing your PJs? Yay or Nay?

MagiKitty-That's what I was thinking too. And I think they said the childs price would be around 7.00. With six of us, we couldn't beat that. Somebody did show that they are offering it to U.K. visitors. Hopefully, they follow through for us.

Pikester-Glad your kids liked it. Your kids are right around the same ages as some of mine so that makes me think they will like it too.

Well, what kind of PJs are you wearing? Are they...uuummm...honeymoon PJs or are they "my child is having a sleepover" PJs? :rotfl: If it's the second ones, sure no problem. But if it's the first, well, I don't think I would scare anyone that way.

Seriously, if I'm not actually going somewhere, I just wear sweatpants, cutoff sweatpants and a tshirt. What I wear for PJ's at Disney, I wouldn't think twice about about wearing to get breakfast. I'm usually there as soon as the food court opens anyway to get stuff before the kids get up. I've seen far worse than wearing PJs to go to the food court in the morning.

I'm talking lounge pants and a tshirt with a bra on so the girls aren't swinging free!:rotfl: The last time we went I would get my comfy clothes (lounge pants, etc) on and head down to the food court to get a hot tea before bed so I could relax a little. I would wear flip flops and usually a lite jacket since it was December and a little cool.

Afternoon, Killers. Its been a rough day, nothing too bad. But do you ever have one of those days that the simplest things turn into obstacles, and everything just seems so much harder than usual? I'm having one of those days. I'm not complaining, I have love and family in my life, I have my health and tons of wonderful. I'm just saying it seems harder today.

A few of my Christmas orders sold out and although I won't be charged, I'm a little bummed not to get my stuff.

Finally got in touch with my travel agent......We're on the same page now and I've given her the flight info for Magical Express--let's just hope our flights don't get changed anymore. So far, its been changed twice.

I think I'm getting cranky-pants. I need to battle it with carbs. The extra calories are really better for everyone involved....give me the cupcake and no one gets hurt!

Sorry about the rough day...I may have to share mine tomorrow. My eyes are too tired tonight. I think your travel agent wasn't even in the same book you were in, let alone the same page. :rotfl: Don't settle for the cupcake---

---have the whole cake!

M&N I agree with you that the person who "stole" the designs did the right thing to come on and apologize. Doesn't do anyone any good to keep on picking at it (will never heal). Just forgive and get on with your life. :)

Some people are just "better" than others and do no wrong. :snooty:

Hello!

I see Magikitty, lightech, DL55 have stopped by to check in for the day. Where is everybody else?:confused3

Went to the movies and saw Wall-E. That is a really cute movie! I almost cried at the end...

Took DS10 to the podiatrist and we ended up buying some inserts for his shoes ($40  ) We will be giving these a month to see how they work and then going back to decide if he will need an insert that offers more support. In order to get that better support we will need to do custom made inserts ($275 :scared1: ). After the first pair of inserts it will cost us $100 for every new pair of inserts that we will need to buy due to DS10 growing.

I'm glad others are enjoying Wall-E too. I just loved his curiosity and determination. I didn't stay and watch the credits. Someone said it told something too.
And DS10 at the spurt age too. I used to tease my 5th graders they were not allowed to get taller than me until they left elem school...they loved to creep up there.

I got rejected from the Nike Tryout Panel. Looks like they're not interested in developing shoes for and the opinions of a middle-aged overweight female. Imagine that! :lmao:

They are missing a large group of buyers. I knew there was some reason why I never bought any! I'm an Easy Spirit girl myself. :yay:

I forgot to mention that I loved the "Short" that they showed before Wall-E. The magician and rabbit were hysterical!

That was worth the price of the movie! :lmao:

What are the other options?

I knew I ssaved this one for a special reason! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Honestly, around here pajama bottoms are so common as "outerwear" I wouldn't think twice if I saw it at a breakfast buffet! I'm also that bad tourist who has the thinking "I'll never see these people again anyway!" and have had some questionable outfits and antics....:rotfl:

And I'd like to add I'd much rather see some persons in their pajamas rather than some of those short-shorts and tank top outfits out there!

Re: Wall-E, at the end of the credits they have the names of all the babies born to Pixar employees during the making of the movie. Let me just say it was a really long list!

Well, see there is nothing wrong with that. You were covered and they were not swinging free, so what's the big deal? But heck, some people will find anything to complain about. Maybe you should have worn heels and an evening gown to get your tea.

And to be honest, sometimes I have worn the same thing while sitting on my room chair outside of my room and had an adult beverage while my kids were sleeping. Nope, didn't block the walkway or anything, but I know alot of people would look down on that. Heck, we stay at the values so we must be loud, obnoxious classless people according to some disboards posters.

Sorry if I forgot to say I was going to Annaplois today...Glad you missed me. I am going to write about it but do not have time tonight---too tired and I need a shower...BUT, second priority was checking on the TKers. 1st was to call mom...actually you came in 3rd...had to go to

first. I usually do when I go anywhere.

Since we are talking about clothing, I saw a guy today wearing black leather pants! I don't mean the kid you might wear while riding your motorcycle. I'm talking shiny, may have been pleather, Micheal Jackson Beat it Pants! :rotfl:
