Good Evening!!

My name is Melanie, and I am generally new here. For the past few weeks I have been hanging out on the Teen Board, but im looking for some more friends to make. I am currently 17 years old (well just turned 17).

I only joined this thread a couple of days ago also. Everyone here seems very nice.

lighttech, be very very careful with the trains! My DN got into trains after the Thomas the Tank engine phase and at 11 y/o, its crazy! He wants the really nice, really expensive stuff. Lionel. That's what it called. Crazy stuff. He's insane for his train layouts, with little trees, little people, little houses. The good thing is we all know what to get him for presents! But darn if I won't pay $200 for a piece of train--not even the entire thing! But, little boys in overalls and a conductors cap are cute, I don't think I could deny a little guy love of trains, esp. one as cute as yours.

Thank goodness you're feeling better Shmu! What flavour of ice cream did you get?

I hope everyone had a nice Sunday. My husband dragged me to Hobbytown today (he messes with trains) and then we took a long ride on the motorcycles.

Thanks for the welcome. We love camping. Fort Wilderness is our favorite. Pepperw23 has told me they are going to Fort Wilderness for the first time in August. I have already sent her some pictures. I know she will love it too.

Thanks for the welcome. We love camping. Fort Wilderness is our favorite. Pepperw23 has told me they are going to Fort Wilderness for the first time in August. I have already sent her some pictures. I know she will love it too.

I have not camped at the Fort...yet. Would love to, but dont have the AC for Florida camping.
We camp mostly in WI but have gone to SD and MT. Going to CO this summer .

We have the same sky! Where you from? I'm north of NYC--very far north. You'll soon learn that I'm quite frustrated with the weather. I let everyone know what crappy weather we have here on a pretty regular basis...

I had a good 17....my senior year in high school/freshman year in college. I hit a bump around 20 for a while. That was the rough years...trying to figure out what/who I was. I think I'm still trying to figure that out most days.

Ontario, Canada is where I am , although my mind is somewhere else right now. . I get so frustrated with the weather also! Its so cold here, and i'm like "Come on, it's the middle of may".

I am always trying to figure out who I am and who I really want to be. It's quite fun!

I think we try to figure out who we are our entire lives. I am alot older than you, and am going through changes. I am hoping to change jobs after having the same one for 8 years. I interviewed for a job last week that I would like to have very much. I know I would be great at it. I am waiting to hear back on it.

Enjoy the younger years while you can.
