Sure, remind us all how long we have to wait for shorts weather. What? You didn't realize that the racecars fit right into her beach, southern belle irish theme? She's having fun and the wedding will have a variety of things they both like.

Well, today was the last day for secret peeping. DD12 left 8 peeps around the house for her today while she was out. A couple pics....

She still is blaming dad along with her daughter. She thinks it's some kind of conspiracy between them.

Almost forgot....stepmom finally ordered her cake. She's getting a cake in the style they refer to as "Mad Hatter" (very fitting name where stepmom is concerned ) This is the style...

The colors are going to be green with a little orange too. And instead of flowers on top, they have decided to put the racecars of their favorite drivers. Don't ask me....I gave up asking questions where this wedding is concerned.

OK, that is a BEAUTIFUL cake! But race cars? Orange? Green? OK, this is getting SCARY!

We received about 15 inches of snow yestereday. It just wouldn't stop. So much for wearing my best Easter dress and bonnet tomorrow. It's gonna be more like dragging out my Christmas sweaters and knee high boots.
Please send more to melt this stuff!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone! I'm wearing shorts right now.

I'm sorry, but you need to be SLAPPED!!! That is just toooo cruel, especially since D&D just got 15 INCHES OF SNOW!!!

I spent the afternoon clothes shopping with the kids. DD is a size ZERO in pants--very scary! Clothes in her size are either really cute or totally trampy. Fortunately, she goes for the cute, and wants nothing to do with the trampy. Thank you GOD!

Good Morning all and HAPPY EASTER. dreamin, love your siggie stuff. Okay nothing much going on DN called did go to hospital, she was having back pains and some stomach. Nothing, they hooked her up for a non stress test for a while and sent her home. So, if nothing more happens today, tomorrow she will go in and be induced.

Happy Easter everyone! It is a beautiful sunny day here in NY, not nearly warm enough for shorts (AHEM) but as long as its not snowing, I'll take it.

Surrounded by children in Easter finery today in church. All looked really cute and terribly uncomfortable. Very well behaved also.

No huge Easter plans here, just enjoying the sun. It looks like the French Riviera by the deck doors, all the cats are sunning themselves and luxuriating in the warmth.

Oh no! Easter drama! So sorry to hear that some of us had a rough Easter-prep yesterday/last night. Did the eggs get away from you? Did the baskets get out of control? Please share when you have the time and the patience. I'm trying to figure out how Easter can go wrong (aside from misplaced Easter eggs found months later. Yuck!).

disney54us-nope, never did get around to making the dip. The kids had both of us home today and for once we didn't have to go a million places that always get put off during the week. We took it easy and just spent time with the kids. We went to visit dad and stepmom for about an hour but otherwise just enjoyed the day at home. Stepmom was shocked to find out it was us doing the peeping. Turns out that everyone else knew about it but her. She has sworn revenge on all of us.

The snow is melting but not quick enough! Still had to wear boots to church today. However, the sun is out and that is promising. So far this year we have had 95 inches of snow. Expecting some more this week. It's got to stop sometime - right???

The snow is melting but not quick enough! Still had to wear boots to church today. However, the sun is out and that is promising. So far this year we have had 95 inches of snow. Expecting some more this week. It's got to stop sometime - right???

Had a really nice Easter here. I resisted the PEEPs this morning, but we did microwave one just to watch it die. It was so cool--got really big, and then deflated when we took it out. After church we came home and it looked like it had melted into a puddle! AND it was rock hard too.

I had dinner with the folks, just the 3 of us. I'd meant to bring margerine for my potato, but I forgot, and they only had butter. I thought about it, but didn't want to cross that line. So I ate it naked with just a little salt, and it was pretty darned good. I feel good about showing such restraint on a holiday!

Morning All, Hope everyone had a good Easter. Well DN should be leaving for the Hospital shortly, to be induced. So today we'll have a new baby. Okay, for my Easter Eve venting. getting ready to dye eggs with DS, DD was at AppleBee's with GF, phone rings it's DD she's crying. Yes, something happened to the car again, seems like the spoiler was broken. Upon later inspection, someone tryed stealing it, must have taken a crow bar to the middle to pop it off and the right side broke so they left it. Damage to the trunk hood, and needs a new spoiler I really can't deal with this, DH called AppleBee's to see if they have camera's in the parking lot, only on the car side pick up, in the shopping center that place is in they need it all over.

Hope everyone's peeps and eggs have thawn out.

Excuse me but... I just had to do that. I was thinking of it the whole way home today. I did not buy the dark chocolate covered hand made peanut butter eggs that I wanted sooooo much. Had it in hand 2 times. Not that I had a perfect eating experience this weekend. I did take the French apple pie and a brownie but could have had so much more. I tried to save extra points but they would not have covered the egg---it was big.

Whgrn---naked potato.
