How the heck is everyone? I am good. Lost $300 bucks in Atlantic City but we had fun anyway. Travel for work STUNK ha ha. Did I see "snowstorm in March???" Yuck!!!!! I don't like snow.

A big to DS. Vicks is wonderful but like disney54us said, it may be too strong for him. Maybe you could try the baby vicks like she said. Or I think they used to make a liquid you could add to bath water. I used that alot when mine are sick. It's not very strong but it did help. Of course, I don't even know if they sell it anymore but it's worth a shot. A nice relaxing morning at home sounds better than the zoo (sorry to your DH). Hope you get to relax a little.



More snow?!? Everyone always talks about having a white Christmas but I bet there is not one person who talks about having a white Easter. Sending you some more but it doesn't seem to be helping much. And it's not only boys who have that problem. My 2 youngest DDs could probably give them a run for their money. DH keeps saying we should just get them boxing gloves and let them get it out of their systems.



Hope is a beautiful name. And it's great that she's still thinking positive. A shower and a ponytail...I'm still happy for that some days around here. The hair straightener is a good idea. Once things calm down, she'll be able to use plenty.

Thanks, it is a pretty name, not to strange and not to used. I told her all the killers are sending her , prayers and good wishes. Now days there are preg boards you click on you due month and 'talk' to others due the same time. She laughed, and said oh I can see Hopes life will be talked about! Of course I told her, ummm what do you think, of course all the killers will want to hear about Hope and are waiting!

Sorry about the snow. Although, we used to get our "big one" mid March. No snow here, but very cold! So much for the first full day of spring.

I actually tried the cream... but I don't think that its the baby one. It was a last minute thought b/c he just couldn't seem to get that tickle out of his throat. He seems ok with it now.



I use the pediacare menthol strips that you put into a little nightlight in their room. It works great at night! I just never know what to do for daytime. I don't like to give him too much cold medicine at this age. But, honestly everything has made him cry today (he burst into tears b/c his snack was "too messy.") I just put him down for a nap, and he was out beffore his head hit the pillow. I should be putting this time to good use, but I needed a few grown up moments to maintain my sanity for the rest of the day.

Well, off to start cleaning out the back room! It will be DSs "big boy" room when the baby comes, but its turned into storage over the past 3 years!

Luckily (I guess) DHs aunt is coming to stay for a few days in May, so I have to get it at least semi-cleaned by then. Hoping to have it emptied out before she gets here so I can start painting when she leaves. I do love decorating... especially kids rooms, but I'm not sure where I'm gonna find the time this time around. I'd spend whole days doing DSs nursery before he was born... but htat was before he was born! This time around I'll have a lot of "help." Lord love him, he LOVES to help. I don't usually complain about it. I'd so much rather have him with me and have it take 3 times as long, but I'm feeling a little time pressure this time.

Thanks again, try the vicks 'hot steam vaporizor' yes the steam, not cold humidifier. warm steam w/the little medicine cup that you can pour the liquid vaporizor stuff. works great and also soothing. The cold air/mist can make it worse on the chest. I know, have horrible sinus problems, and DD has asthma. Give her cold mist and I would be in the ER.

Checking in for a good morning!

I doubt I'll be on much today. Poor DS is sick again... I don't know where he gets all this. That was one advantage to using a private daycare. There's only 2 other kids there... I thought that was supposed to keep the germs down.

Poor kid, he's just so tired he's on the verge of tears constantly. (He wanted to have chocolate covered raisins after breakfast and watch a show, so I caved and thats what he's doing now... means I have a few minutes to say "hi" to you all.) I just put some vicks on him to help w/ the cough. I remember being so soothed by it when I was little... DS apparently has a different opinion... he screamed bloody murder and asked me to take it off! (Hence the raisin and show cave-in. Sometimes you just want to make the little guys happy again.)

I have to run... DS needs a tissue!

Almost forgot....stepmom finally ordered her cake. She's getting a cake in the style they refer to as "Mad Hatter" (very fitting name where stepmom is concerned ) This is the style...

The colors are going to be green with a little orange too. And instead of flowers on top, they have decided to put the racecars of their favorite drivers. Don't ask me....I gave up asking questions where this wedding is concerned.

Speaking of snow,weather etc. Oh yeah gardening when we have the right weather. Back some time ago, we were talking about chemicals, vinegar etc. I told you about a catalog I have used for years that doesn't have all the lawn 'killers's' in it but gives you a nice lawn. The name is GARDENS ALIVE, you can call and get a catalog, go on the web. The catolog comes w/$25.00 off coupon on order of $50.00. Very good stuff, used it years ago, then had landscaper. Then bought big cold house, now back to being my own landscaper. Ordered oN Mon. rec'd today!!!!!n Try it you'll like it!!!! PS No pic's of peeping stepmom???, Come on we need some entertainment.

Oh no no no. She still has the beach theme too. Along with the racing and irish theme. And you know how people decorate with balloons? Well, she has balloons that light up. Tons of them. But you are right. She is having fun planning the wedding she never got to have before. And the wedding will be tons of fun since it definately won't be "uptight" if you know what I mean.

We received about 15 inches of snow yestereday. It just wouldn't stop. So much for wearing my best Easter dress and bonnet tomorrow. It's gonna be more like dragging out my Christmas sweaters and knee high boots.

Sorry to hear about little ones being sick. I was never a fan of how Vicks VapoRub felt, but boy did it do its job. Cleared my chest right quick.

I think that wedding is cake is just gorgeous by itself. Something I would choose. Not too sure about changing the colors. Race cars would have been cute on a groom's cake--are they having one of those?

Hope is a beautiful name, very inspiring. Has she arrived yet?

Please let me know if that hair thing works. I'm always looking for a way to tame my hair. I'm always approached by those kiosk people in the mall, but I don't want to be guilted into buying something that doesn't work.

Ahh, the end of the Peeping. I'm almost sad to see it go. Can you Peep in the off season?

My niece informed me that she wants Cadbury eggs--those kind that are gooey orange and white in the middle. Cannot find them at all. Hoping to hit Target tomorrow after church and find some hiding somewhere.

D&D....15 inches in March? I am so so sorry for you. Have a bit of cabin fever myself, so cannot imagine how another load of snow would do for my psyche. Sending lots of ixiedust: your way...hope it helps. Sorry to hear about the demise of the Easter outfit, but you gotta stay warm.
