First let me tell you how cute your Mickey & Minnie eggs are!!!
Weather complaints are everywhere, though I do hope you hair is straight straight, or else you'll frizzzzzzzz:rotfl2:. BTW, everyone has a screened in pool and I don't mean just some b/c they have more money. It is a standard, working class, rich. Everyone has a pool, so that will help with the hot summers. Now I hope you realize we killers aren't coming during the Hot Humid summer months to visit, no, no, we'll be there when we can't take the cold, the snow and :scared1: another Ice Storm~~~:scared1:
Your heart is in the right place, you obviously love DH and the the family you have and want to enjoy your lives together, happy, not sad. So good for you and doing what's best for your own family (I was going to say little, but hey you guys aren't that little size wise:laughing:)
I hope you get to relax a little this Easter, and your family enjoys the dip. Tell future step mom, to hide all the breakables:thumbsup2 [/QUOTE]

I quoted in between you quote so I had to delete some if not I would have to retype everything above:eek:.

How in the World did my multi quote come out in my next?????????:confused3 :confused3 Lord help me, I so don't get that:sad1:

It was time to change my signature with the new holiday. I'd tell you that you could borrow it but well, we just won't go there. :rotfl2: And I do have straight hair but it's long. But it will be easy to convince me to cut it once we are down there. :goodvibes

We've looked at alot of houses on-line so far and alot of them do have pools. And huge backyards. That's what I really want. A place for the kids to run and not have to worry so much. I want to have big family BBQ's and sit on the back porch with my DH having a cold one while talking about our day. The kids keep asking if they will be able to play outside all the time and ride their bikes whenever they want. When we visited BIL last year, it was August and the heat didn't even phase them. They just want to be outside but not in the cold. It was 50 degrees here today and they all had blankets on even though it was warm in the house. :rotfl:

I don't even think SIL is going to stepmom's house for Easter. But maybe we should glue everything down just in case. Have a nice relaxing Easter yourself. And I'll be enjoying that dip even if it's by myself.

I'll set up a calendar and you all can pencil yourselves in for a week in the winter. :goodvibes

Oh don't worry about whatever happened with the quote and stuff. I understood you completely. I like to think it's the disboards messing up and not us. :rotfl2: At least that's what I tell myself and then I feel better.

:rotfl2: :lmao: Your right we won't even go there!!!
Sounds, good and you won't have to cut your hair, as long as it's straight you'll be fine. You can put it in a twist after your afternoon swim:thumbsup2. Now make sure when you pencil us in, it's when its cold here and palmy there!!!

We must be posting at the same time. I hope you have a nice Easter too and enjoy the dip. Of course you will be on b/f Easter???right??

of course I'll be here. Couldn't celebrate a holiday without my dis-family too. :goodvibes But there is no school so I'll be fighting with the kids for the computer. :rotfl2: Mmmm, mother's day is soon, maybe I can convince DH to get me my own computer. :rotfl2:

MMMM, that sounds like a good Mother's Day Present:thumbsup2.

Just got off the phone with DN, nothing yet:confused3, she is taking a relaxing bath and bought herself a Mothers Day present w/DH's approval since he won't be here. I sought of laughed and said don't we need to concentrate on getting to be a mom first:laughing:. I call her and leave messages "Whatca Doing?" When she calls back, I'm always like well? Has Hope decided to make a entrance yet? anything, just a little change??

So, the baby's name is Hope? Or is it she's Hoping that the baby makes an appearance soon? A nice hot bath was one of my favorite things when I pregnant. So, what did she buy herself? Something real good?

Checking in for a good morning!

I doubt I'll be on much today. Poor DS is sick again... I don't know where he gets all this. That was one advantage to using a private daycare. There's only 2 other kids there... I thought that was supposed to keep the germs down.

Poor kid, he's just so tired he's on the verge of tears constantly. (He wanted to have chocolate covered raisins after breakfast and watch a show, so I caved and thats what he's doing now... means I have a few minutes to say "hi" to you all.) I just put some vicks on him to help w/ the cough. I remember being so soothed by it when I was little... DS apparently has a different opinion... he screamed bloody murder and asked me to take it off! (Hence the raisin and show cave-in. Sometimes you just want to make the little guys happy again.)

Easter should be slow around here (I'm hoping.) Hide some eggs, eat some candy and then we have to eventually clean ourselves up to meet my parents for Easter/Birthday dinner. DH suggested going to the zoo or something too, but I requested a whole morning at home. Since I work every Saturday, and DH works all week, Sundays are our only family day and we're always trying to squeeze in too much.

Dreamin' your plan sounds wonderful. Its really hard to put your own family first sometimes. I'm sure its a tough decision to leave other family members behind. But, its not like you are moving out of the country. I think we have a tendency to worry that we'll never see one another again if we're not right up the road! Meanwhile, I know plenty of people that moved far from their families and have the most wonderful relationship.

I have to run... DS needs a tissue!

Argggggg! Snow Storm in March!!!!!!!Can't even see across the street. Supposed to get up to 15 inches now. :scared1: This is crazy!!!!!! I got to enjoy looking at my new patio for what...2 weeks??

because I feel like a ref today too. Winter (I mean Spring) break has started with bang. What is it about boys that they just can't keep off of each other. :headache:

lighttech - Hope your DS feels better soon!

Going to decorate eggs tonight.(They're $2 a dozen here -yikes!) Then watch the traditional "Jesus of Nazareth" story. I wish we were going on a Cross Walk like M&N but the weather is soooooo bad here that we'd get lost on the walk.:cold: For Easter it will be quiet. (Quiet being a relative term;) or course) We'll have our tradtional ham and polish sausage dinner w/ the butter lamb and rainbow bread. And of course - deviled eggs made from those colored eggs no one will eat.

Yooooo-hoooooo.... Maaaaaagsndeeeennnn....?!?!?!? Where are you???

The baby's name is Hope, and she is also hoping that she makes a appearance soon:laughing:. She has long very very thick hair, so in order to blow out her hair straight it could take a hour. At first she told DH she wanted on of those expensive blow dryers like the CHI, they run upward of $150, but they are powerful and she could do her hair in half the time. Now of course I did giggle a little and told her she'll be lucky if she gets to shower and pull her hair back in a ponytail. But she is thinking positive:thumbsup2. She ended up getting this straighting iron, they have in the kiosk's in the mall. I knew what she was talking about b/c DD had come home from the mall at Christmas time and told me all about it. How smooth and silky it makes your hair etc. etc. It is also pricey but supposedly unlike the CHI straighting Iron's that the temp could be 450 degrees and burn your hair if used daily, this is moist heat and you know all that good stuff. So for her very exciting gift. I do know through the years that hairdressers dreaded doing her hair, b/c even for them it would take so long.

 to your DS. I love vicks it is soothing. My DS is the same way to strong for him. They make a 'baby' Vick's vapor rub. Actually it's in a tube and comes out like a cream, it's not as strong. He may go for that DS doesn't mind that one:thumbsup2. Sounds like a relaxing Easter Sun. plan, so hope you enjoy and a Happy Easter Birthday to you:dance3:.
Yep, I've had family less then 20 mins. away that we would hardly see and family that lived across the country that I would see more!

We've had some of the worst blizards, in March and I'm not in Snow Country like you. Just keep thinking Spring and how you will enjoy your patio soon.

A big :grouphug: to DS. Vicks is wonderful but like disney54us said, it may be too strong for him. Maybe you could try the baby vicks like she said. Or I think they used to make a liquid you could add to bath water. I used that alot when mine are sick. It's not very strong but it did help. Of course, I don't even know if they sell it anymore but it's worth a shot. A nice relaxing morning at home sounds better than the zoo (sorry to your DH). Hope you get to relax a little. :goodvibes

More snow?!? :scared1: Everyone always talks about having a white Christmas but I bet there is not one person who talks about having a white Easter. Sending you some more :sunny: but it doesn't seem to be helping much. And it's not only boys who have that problem. My 2 youngest DDs could probably give them a run for their money. DH keeps saying we should just get them boxing gloves and let them get it out of their systems. :rotfl2:

The baby's name is Hope, and she is also hoping that she makes a appearance soon:laughing:. She has long very very thick hair, so in order to blow out her hair straight it could take a hour. Hope is a beautiful name. And it's great that she's still thinking positive. A shower and a ponytail...I'm still happy for that some days around here. :rotfl2: The hair straightener is a good idea. Once things calm down, she'll be able to use plenty.

Sorry about the snow. Although, we used to get our "big one" mid March. No snow here, but very cold! So much for the first full day of spring.

The baby's name is Hope,

 to your DS. I love vicks it is soothing. My DS is the same way to strong for him. They make a 'baby' Vick's vapor rub. Actually it's in a tube and comes out like a cream, it's not as strong. Beautiful name, and I think a beautiful sentiment for the times we live in.
I actually tried the cream... but I don't think that its the baby one. It was a last minute thought b/c he just couldn't seem to get that tickle out of his throat. He seems ok with it now.

.

I use the pediacare menthol strips that you put into a little nightlight in their room. It works great at night! I just never know what to do for daytime. I don't like to give him too much cold medicine at this age. But, honestly everything has made him cry today (he burst into tears b/c his snack was "too messy.") I just put him down for a nap, and he was out beffore his head hit the pillow. I should be putting this time to good use, but I needed a few grown up moments to maintain my sanity for the rest of the day.

Well, off to start cleaning out the back room! It will be DSs "big boy" room when the baby comes, but its turned into storage over the past 3 years! :scared1:

Luckily (I guess) DHs aunt is coming to stay for a few days in May, so I have to get it at least semi-cleaned by then. Hoping to have it emptied out before she gets here so I can start painting when she leaves. I do love decorating... especially kids rooms, but I'm not sure where I'm gonna find the time this time around. I'd spend whole days doing DSs nursery before he was born... but htat was before he was born! This time around I'll have a lot of "help." Lord love him, he LOVES to help. I don't usually complain about it. I'd so much rather have him with me and have it take 3 times as long, but I'm feeling a little time pressure this time.

Bopsmom -
Thank you SO much for the seeds! And please tell DD thank you too! (I realize we're a little behind. DH brought in a stack of mail that he "hid" - read: put in plain sight, but didn't mention, so I didn't even notice it even though I walked by it every day! :rotfl: The cards are TOO cute. And, I love the little planting guide. DS is VERY excited to plant them. And, he asked if he could send you some little "buggies." (That's what he calls the smilies, and I told him the seeds were from a lady Mommy talks to on the computer.) So, here goes...

:flower3: pirate: :grouphug: :goodvibes :laundy: :cheer2:  :hippie: :rotfl:

He picked those out himself... I'm not sure where the laundry one came in... :confused3
