Had a very windy night. Blew our portable garage completely off our tent trailer. It's "protecting" the back fence. Can't find the steel cable that attached it to the ground bolts. Can't pick it up. We hope to roll it back into position. This could be interesting. I took pictures. Does anyone to see?

DD got an invite last night to see Hannah Montanna. She is so excited!

I broke my front tooth over a weekend once. [I]Add that to a southern accent and people automatically drop your IQ 60 points.[/I]

I am SOOOO jealous! What an awesome concert lineup! You can tell you're not in Jersey! We get some country shows here, but then we also get Ozzfest. YIKES!!!

LOTS of men in kilts. Including a whole bagpipe brigade. DH, FIL and BIL all wore theirs. (DS has one, but for some reason cried when we put it on... no sense pushing it. He's 3. His wardrobe is one of the few things he has control over. I was a little dissappointed I didn't get to take a pic of DH and DS both in their kilts though... would've been cute.) I'm with you by the way. Men in kilts are just plain sexy. I was tempted to by a t-shirt I saw that read "Official Kilt Inspector."

Now THAT is a shirt for me!!! LOL! I would have LOVED to be there with all those kilts! I find there is NOTHING sexier than a man in a kilt.

I'm just gonna die in Scotland.... Hell, I'll probably choke on my drool!!

M&N-I was just on my way over here and you beat me to it. Of course, I kept getting distracted by all the other threads on here. A Dis meet at the Celtic Classic...I'm there. Of course, I only live a few blocks away so I'll have no problems getting there.

lighttech-sounds like it would be a nice thing to do for the afternoon but I don't think I would really travel for it. That tshirt is great. But you know, if you made up trip up here for the Celtic Classic, maybe you could get a pic of DS and DH then. Hope you're feeling better soon.

DL55-where are the pics? Are you just teasing us with the promise of new and exciting pictures to look at?

Bopsmom-OMG!!!! If I was living that close to so many country stars performing, I would have to take this entire month off. I feel pretty fortunate that I've seen some of my favorites but that is just unreal. I guess I can dream.

Bopsmom - I love, love , love your cowboy smilie. Yeah, DH used to ride bareback horses for fun. He actually has a real job in education. He asked be today if the Houston rodeo was still at the Astrodome like when he went. Uh, honey, pretty sure they tore that down. (Didn't they?) He wants to know if they have it in the new place they built across the road. That is a pretty awesome line-up even without King George. Love me some Alan, Clay, Big & Rich, Brooks & Dunn, etc. Can you tell I like my country stars to wear hats? Congrats on not having to go to the Hannah Montana concert. Kilts are good, but give some Wranglers and boots. Lone Star beer reminds me of my trip to Ft Worth. That storm system is supposed to come through here early tomorrow morning.

Good Morning Killers!! Well, dressing up peeps, men in kilts and C&W stars!!! bopsmom, great line up, hope you had fun. Oh those so impossible, hanna/miley tickets, glad DD is older and I don't have to go through that. When Brittney was in her day and her audience was the tween crowd, went through 'having to have tickets' to see her. Of course when she had two stripper poles she danced with, I thought she might want to consider the average age of her audience.
Where's magsnden been???, haven't seen her post the last couple of days.
Was about 60 yesterday which was nice, today still on the warmer side but due to rain later, heavy in some area's as those weather peeps like to say.

Hope you Killers are not sick. I've got spring fever. Went for a walk before the rain comes and listened to all the birdies singing and scared some squirrels. Saw a UFO (unidentified flat object) in the street. Some flowers popping up. Came home and wanted to take a nap but I haven't---yet. (insert yawning smilie)

I'm here! Afternoon, everyone. Major spring cleaning underway over here. Spent the weekend getting my parents ready for their trip to the Philippines, which in turn left everything in disarray. Drove them to JFK Sunday night, so was quite tired most of yesterday.

Managed to warm up yesterday, and got my amazing dirty car cleaned at the car wash. So today I go out to the car and I notice that the bumper strips on the front of my car are barely hanging on! So I've bought bumper adhesive from the auto place and scraped the old crappy adhesive off. But its raining now so its too damp to do the "surgery". Expecting lots of rain this next couple of days, but rain is so much better than snow!

I'm a huge fan of Sugarland! And Faith Hill. I just love powerful female singers. I would love that concert lineup! I've never been to a rodeo, so aside from watch concerts and eat barbecue, what else goes on? Do you actually watch bull-riding and such? Mmm...I do love a man in a nice pair of jeans...

All the great weight loss has made me feel amazingly guilty about my own Peep meet. But the Easter candy lineup is just too much to resist! Been saving a peanut butter egg for a special occasion. Been looking for a special occasion all day.

I've never seen a man in a kilt in a real life. May have to check this out. But I must admit, I am a sucker for a good accent. Been watching my Jane Austen collection, so basically I'm a puddle of man-loving goo at the moment.

I've also lost 6 pounds since mid January! I thought I'd mention it here as my Mom didn't care.

Not much going on around here. Been working a lot. DS got called to Jury Duty today but didn't have to serve thank goodness. There is a big murder case here and I was really worried he would end up on that jury. He is only 19 so that may have saved him.

Weightloss is at right around 14 pounds now, I think I need to kick it up a knotch somehow. I started Jan 5th. What do you guys think? It seems so slow. I have lost 4 inches though.

I gotta run. Waiting on more pics DL55.

The three pictures are all I have that are interesting. The rest show the anchors in place and the only piece of cable I could find. We bought new pieces of cable and may try to move it tonight. I'll try to get a picture of us moving it but I suspect tempers are going to flair.

Any weight loss is great. Don't make light of it. I really wasn't making a joke but it came out like one. My WW leader says 1-2 a week is what is best. If you loose too fast, it's harder to keep off.
I've never had jury duty---PTL! I probably wouldn't get picked anyway. I believe in punishing the guilty. The defense would not like that.

Way to go!!!! I finally got around to doing measurements today, and I KNOW my waist is smaller than when I was at Canyon Ranch. I only lost 0.7# this week, but that's ok--I'd gone off my "water pill" and it didn't go well, I was retaining like crazy, so I just started back on yesterday. It will take a few days to flush out the extra fluid...
