Well, I took the plundge and posted some pics on Photobucket. Nothing specific scared me about it. Just always leery of putting too much info out in cyberspace.

I couldn't make the pic any smaller so forgive the size. Size does matter ya know. Here is my family and I at Chef Mic this past Halloween.

Well, I'm probably off for the night. I just managed to break my face at work in my last 1/2 hour for the week... go figure. (Nothing serious, but a loose piece of equipment mananged to catch me right across the cheek. Small cut, and a little swelling.) So, I'm sitting at my desk for a few minutes w/ an ice pack. Don't even think it will bruise, but better safe than sorry. (Anyway, it gives me an excuse to check in here! )

Holy Ravioli I missed a lot!!! Magsden showed us her beautiful babies...how cute are they??? Pies, Jane Austin, VD (lol). Lighttech!!! OUCH!! I hope your face is feeling better.

My life has been crazy busy! Work is out of control busy so I have had no time to have DIS up in the corner while I work ...then with baseball season starting (college...way too early IMO) totally crazy week. I have some free time tonight finally.

My work had a seminar group come in on Thursday so that was a nice break. We had "7 habits of highly effective people" I HIGHLY recommend this seminar. Gave me a whole new outlook on life.

We went to DS double header today and froze. It was 45 but it felt like -45 with the wind. He was relief pitcher today and he did great. We were proud of him. I took some great pics and I will try to figure out how to post them for all to see. They won both games!!! YAY

I will try not to be the absent TK'r this week.

Pic's are great, DS does not look mean, he looks like he's focused. Ditto as stated prior 'a cutie'. You and your daughter are beautiful, must ask can you bottle the hair color you both have??? I love it!!!

Dreamin, great pic your DD is a beauty!! Future step bro has the snake (double lip piercing) that's what they call it. I'm not sure why they call it that but hey we're, we have the lingo. Hey as long as he's a good kid who cares ton's of 'normal' looking ( or what is suppose to be) kids out there, that I wouldn't want ten feet near my DD. Her BF has the lip piercing did the snake then took it out and left the one. I must say a great kid polite, helpful, kind and treats her like a princess. So he likes to a have a loop on his lip .
Wow, if I don't lose this post I think I finally caught up. Valentine's penpal senior party went great. both the seniors and the kids had a great time. I was tired by night time and we just hung back and ordered out from a local Italian place. Funny DD went to dinner w/BF and I'm thinking what is wrong with this picture aren't we suppose to be the ones going out to dinner. Next week is DN' baby shower, I won't be there she lives in KS, but I've been busy getting things ready to send and talking to her GF about the plans. I'm making the favors, but have to wait till tomorrow till fagrance and the wicks I need come. Ups does deliver on Pres. Day, don't they????

Hey everyone!

Just got done finally cleaning up after watching the race. I was surprised that Ryan Newman won. I figured Tony Stewart would win since he raced good all weekend. I was rooting for Kyle Busch to win only because of the way he was treated by his former team. Oh well, there's always next year.

disney54us-I forgot to tell you, that valentine's party sounded like such a wonderful idea. I know at our elementary school, they take all the children over to the retirement home to visit on Halloween. It's always a big hit with everyone involved. We didn't do anything for Valentine's day since that was the day everyone got sick. But when DH came home from work, he did bring me candy....dark chocolate, my favorite I can't remember the last time we went out that day, I usually just cook his favorite meal and just spend time relaxing.

oh yeah, disney54us, you are exactly right about step brother. He is a complete sweetheart. I don't care what he looks like, he's great with my kids. He always says he's gonna take DD4 for her first piercing.

d&ddisney - do you think you can make your picture bigger? i really can't see anyone's faces - i guess it was your mother that i thought was another child!!! am i the only one that sees that picture small?

Are you serious or just pulling my leg? Is my picture that small to everyone?
I thought y'all were just teasing me. On my screen it is HUGE and takes up the entire screen so that is why I appologized for the size. It's so big you can see our pores and exactly what we ate for breakfast.

Morning dear friends! How is everyone this President's Day? Its gotten freakishly warm today--approaching 60! I feel like I should take advantage of the weather and do something productive.

D&D...I see you! And your lovely family. Much better. Yeah! You figured it out!

I caught a bit of the end of the race. There's still the M&M car. Its my favorite. I don't know who won, but congrats to him. Quite an accomplishment.

First piercing! So funny. She'd probably let him do it too. Just aim for the ears.

Scary scenario last night. School here is out for mid-winter break (something we never had in MY day btw). Nephew called late last night asking if he could stay over. Of course! Where was he? He was at a friend's house, he was SUPPOSED to stay over, but something happened....and now he was seeking shelter. Totally cool, he's always welcome, but I wondered what exactly he did to get un-invited to stay over. I asked if I should be worried, is the police involved at all. He said no, just that plans changed. Hmm...I'll let my brother handle it. But I'm glad that he thought to come to me.

On the upside, we got to talk. He may have a date for the prom. He likes the girl. I can't beleive we're talking about prom. But I'm glad he feels he can share it with me. He said he would go to ComiCon in NYC in April. He's not embarrassed to hang out with me. I feel so loved.

MagiKitty-that must have been scary having your nephew call unexpectantly to come stay at your house. I hope all works out well with whatever problem he was having. But it is cool that he knew he could count on you no matter what was going on. It sounds like you guys have an awesome relationship. OOOhhh, the prom...does that bring back memories.

Very warm here today too. I even opened our windows just to air the house out. I hate that stuffy feeling in the winter from having everything closed up tight. May even send the kids outside for a while since they are home too for winter break.

Magsnden sorry that it comes along with a rain-yuck.
Our little weather situation over the weekend didn't form up for us the way the weathermen said, thank goodness.
It's been beautiful here and I sure hope some heads your way soon.

Your FSBro looks just like my DB Doug who passed away 6 years ago. He was my DD's favorite person too. She would meet him at the door and take him straight to the kitchen for chips and salsa. Funny huh. He got her her 1st roller skates-he skated everywhere. When he passed the only picture he carried was one of DD.
I got my last piercing 12 years ago and am about 10,000 sit-up away from getting it redone.

I've got the gardens being turned Tuesday so I have to go to the growers with DM today. I love buying plants!
Some girls like shoes and clothes, not me.

I have herbs popping up everywhere so I'd better get some plants in before they take all the space. I can't bear to pull out volunteer plants
I've got Basil, Cilantro popping up all over.
(Cilantro seeds are the spice Coriander or Cilantro is the steams and leaves of the Coriander plant [chicken/egg])

PM me an address and I'll send ya'll some seeds(Basil/Cilantro) I harvested last fall. I'm getting ready to trim out my Bay Tree if anyone wants bay leaves too.
(I grow organic-no pesticides )

It's 64 here. It was raining early this AM, but not now. Just cloudy. I think I'm gonna go for a walk while I can--you never know when the rain will return!!!

Bopsmom Very sweet about your DD and brother. We went to a local amusement park with him this past summer and I swear everyone did a double take seeing him walking hand in hand with the littlest one. He gets along great with all my kids but it's just something special with her. You're not the only one who doesn't like clothes and shoes. I like to be comfortable and my old clothes work just fine for that. Can't do the plant thing either. I'm just not very good at keeping them alive. But I love photography...not too good at it yet but I'm working on it.

Had some sun earlier today but looks like rain again. But I'll take rain anyday over snow.

Sorry to make anyone nervous!!! My face is fine. A little scratched and sore, but recovering nicely. For whomever asked, its not that my job is dangerous, persay, but whenever you work w/ equipment and lifting and ladders, you have to be careful. Sometimes someone doesn't pay attention and somebody else pays the price. But, its an easy mistake, and I'm sure we've all given each other some bumps and bruises here or there.

DS is on my lap and just noticed the smilies. He's going to put a few in.
