When I told my DH that the LGMHs were signals for other DISers, he said "you're not going to talk to them at the parks are you?" (his reaction) Not a very sociable guy.

Okay I can't even get stuff in my siggie like TK and your getting all artistic on us. Glad your out of your slump. Just posted on the recipe, thread maybe someone out there has my recipe. I think, that maybe I've been dis'ing to much, my right arm and shoulder are really bothering me, I noticed this yesterday.

Bopsmom...I did all that stuff for our trip last year. I love all the different tshirt designs. I went a little crazy with it and ended up with about 14 different shirts for everyone. Dh ended up not letting me go to the craft store anymore for more supplies. But we did end up getting some personal attention from the cm's and the kids got a kick out of that. I haven't been over there for a while....maybe I'll have to get check it out again. I just won't tell DH

Well, its so cold here that I think my computer has frozen. Twenty below windchills are just wrong!!! Can't seem to get warm. Wish I was stowing away in the suitcases of those going to WDW.

DD is home sick- a cold and we are fixin' to go to Hobby Lobby for SciFair and other stuff for school projects.
DH is not here,so I guess he won't mind if I pick up a few extra things for my projects too Sometimes it's better to beg forgiveness than ask permission

I got some really cute things from Amy. I had a few things customized-this is going to be DN(7) and DN(4)'s first trip to Disney so of course I am going all out. I don't think I am going to do the autograph books afterall. Ink/paper/time costs might make buying them better deals. I will go back to pages and use them as "frames" when they want to put the pics/autographs in a scrapbook.
DD is kinda too old, and her BFF(also 1st trip) aren't really too into it. I got them some great t-shirt/tank art from Amy (Tink, HSM, Cpt Jack). I will make them Journals for the trip and passports.
I was even thinking of making Autograph Shirts/tanks-one for each park for the girls. better than searching for books.

Wow! All this crafty talk makes me wish I had done some cute stuff for our trip next week. Guess I could still do the t-shirt transfers for DD & DS. I always wait until the last minute to think of stuff like this and then don't have time or make myself crazy running around trying to get it done. Oh well, if I don't get anything done, I can start working on stuff for our Dec trip. (Which is already booked! )

Praise2Him - have a great time! Let us know about the weather when you get back. I've been looking at forecasts for the next week and so far, so good.

Bopsmom - I've been meaning to tell you how funny I thought your drugstore story was. Men can be so dense. A woman who saw you with all that stuff would have just offered you some chocolate and a margarita!

Thanks. I'm gonna check these out. Where do you get the stuff to make the transfers though? Is that a regular thing you can find at craft stores? I'd like to make a tshirt for a family occasion for DS, but I've never done transfers. (I've used the crayola fabric crayons which I love, but not transfers.)

Wanted to chime in on the wedding thing too... DSIL and DBIL decided ALL the guys would wear kilts at their wedding (the wedding party.) DBIL isn't Scottish, but loved the idea, and DSIL is. We teased him that he should taker HER name since he liked it so much. He now wears a "Utilikilt" (a casual kilt) at all times in warmer weather, and DH decided instead of renting one for his sister's wedding, he would buy one in his family tartan which he now wears for formal functions! Luckily, no one has taken up the bagpipes yet...

As far as cake topper. I didn't want traditional either, so we went outside the box and did a reference to how we met. A flower lei and a sailor's hat for South Pacific the musical which we were both in in High School when we met.

I never did transfers but you get them at craft stores. Read the directions...I think some you have to make sure writing is backwards so it comes out right. You can spend hours looking at the pictures they make for shirts and things. I liked the idea of using the pics in scrapbook too. Need to get more ink first.

I think your topper sang to you. It's neat when they can have a special meaning.
