Hi guys! Haven't been on in a couple of days and had to catch up! Too much to comment on, but it's been interesting reading
Glad mom's surgery went well
AUDisFan - DH is in Opelika this week for a work conference at the Marriott Golf Resort. He says it's really nice!
Great job on quitting smoking!

I know it's hard. I grew up in family where everyone smoked - parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. My dad quit in his late 50's, but my mom never did until she couldn't remember how to anymore (she had Alzheimer's).
I'm an English person (hate Math), and DH is the opposite (he's an electrical engineer), so that works out good with helping our kids study. Surprisingly, DD takes after Dad and loves Math, so she does her Algebra on her own during the day and he helps her at night if she needs it. We use Teaching Textbook, Shmu - what do you use?
I walked for 1 hour Monday & Tuesday, but my knee is so stiff and painful that DD convinced me last night to cut back to every other day for awhile, so I'm taking today off. I hate to do it because I'm afraid I'll quit (like always), but then again, I do want to be able to walk in Disney next week!
Sorry, I can't help with the car situation. None of my kids really cared about cars that much. When oldest DS was 16 we bought him a 1987 Toyota Corolla for $1,000. They affectionately nicknamed it "The Ghetto". When he went to college we bought him a new Honda and middle DS inherited the Ghetto. He went to college this fall and we bought him a new Honda and now DD has the Ghetto. I'm surprised it's still running, but hopefully it'll last until she goes to college - then it can retire, LOL.
Just make sure you have her do all your errands for you - driving will get old pretty fast!
Dreamin', that is good news about your DS. See, they do (eventually) become more responsible
Well, I said it was too much to comment on, but then I did anyway
Oh well, have a great day, everyone!
