Thoughts on rumor of only DVC/FW for rest of 2020?

Has anyone else called Disney today and been told that the resorts that are re-opening will be available to book on Monday?! I just called and was told that by a great CM but I got cut off while on hold. So I called back and was actually told the same thing by the next CM. Anyone else??

It sounds like many people can call Monday and reschedule trips to open resorts...but nowhere has Disney announced that anything but DVC and Ft Wilderness is going to be open past the 11th of July.

Now, it might come out tomorrow, but did they tell you the names of other resorts?

I understand that people with existing tickets will be able to reserve their park days via the system- starting on June 28. Does this mean that those same people would be able to book rooms on property, as well?

No, neither CM named resorts. They just said it would be easier on me to just wait until Monday and then I’d only need to change my resort once. But they both understood my logic that I want to book my park reservations on Monday morning rather than risk being on the phone trying to change my resort.

What are your dates?

Original dates were June 30-July 5. I changed to November, lost my AP discount, and had to pay rack rate for DVC. She said just call back on Monday and hopefully the resort I want will be available to re-book.

WOW! I haven't been checking Disboards due to a big remodeling project in my home. This is the first I've heard of this rumor. That's remarkable!
