It's not so low that it will be taken for no reason. However, if someone happens to have that combo on the waitlist, then I believe they would. Having said that, I don't imagine there is much waitlist demand for OKW

OKW is one of the most heavily bought back resorts, after SSR. As PP said, it is on the cusp in terms of price (it's creeping up every month!) but April UY is not the most popular. So it's really hard to predict one way or the other, especially as there are so many factors involved in their decisions.

Thanks, I was definitely noticing a trend toward OKW but I was hoping that the April UY would maybe detract them from taking it, but I do know the price is close to the ones that I've been seeing getting taken. Fingers crossed!

Based on records filed with Orange County Comptroller, DVD has ROFRed 23 Old Key West deeds in October 2015. The prices paid by DVD to reacquire these deeds ranged from a low of $50.00 a point to a high of $79.00 a point, with an unweighted average of $71.11 per point and a weighted average of $69.34 per point.

A couple of weeks ago I posted some information (click here) about the recent surge in ROFR activity and compared the prices DVD is currently paying versus what it was paying from February through August 2015. The data in the article was only through mid-October, so I'll probably update it now that the month has closed.

The $80 price negotiated by the Original Poster is right on the high end of DVD's price range, so it might be higher than DVD is willing to pay.

By the way, in October DVD ROFRed Old Key West deeds covering all eight Use Years. There were four Old Key West deeds with the April Use Year.
