We will be at the MK for my wife's 65th birthday this May. She suddenly came out with "I wonder if there are 65 things we could do" to mark the occasion. I don't think there are 65 separate attractions in the MK, but was thinking are there any other ways to do 65 things to celebrate? Any ideas?

There are plenty of resort specific things and tours. You could do a combined WDW+cruise vacation. You can do a bar crawl, lounge crawl etc. There are plenty of special activities. I wouldn’t do all. You could do 6+tea (special tea at cake bake shop)+5?

This video could give some pointers:

You can order an elaborate custom cake (her favorite ride maybe?) from the Grand Floridian bakery to be delivered to a restaurant. I’ve also used Daisy Cakes Orlando

I did a Capture Your Moment photo session for my 50th. I don't think I got 50 pictures, but I got some great ones!

If you've never done it, celebrate with a Keys to the Kingdom tour. It's something I think everyone that is a real Disney person needs to do at least once. It's really a walk behind the magic.

Pay $65 for a day of LL Multi Pass? :laughing:

I did my 50th in NYC for a long weekend, and went to all places that’d been around for at least 50 years. Maybe do vintage WDW things, at least the few that are still around?

What a fun, original way to celebrate your 50th. I'd love to hear about some of the places you visited.

The Swiss Family Robinson film was released in 1960 so you could climb the treehouse and take that castle picture shot from the top (with a 65th birthday sign if you wanted).

Counting off 65 separate things to do sounds like a big math slog for a vacation.

OK, so I fibbed a bit. We had Hamilton tickets (original cast, November 1995), so I made an exception!

A few things we did, mostly restaurants:

* Keen's Steakhouse
* Grand Central Oyster Bar
* Katz's Deli
* Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular
* Junior's (the original)
* Tenement Museum (not technically 50 years old)
* Stayed at the St. Regis

It was a great, memorable weekend.

You know it can be tiny things too. A few years ago I was in WDW on my birthday for first time. I opted for MK on my birthday. We did some little things like ... I rarely buy any snacks .... I had a pretty donut, I got one of the fun slushy drinks, I got a birthday button for first time. What I think I would do is make up a list of 65 things big or small to try to check off during the day. Carrying only one piece of paper would be easier. You could make it like a scavenger hunt. Whatever you do ~ keep it simple and achievable that day so your birthday doesn't get lost in it!

Here is one I found for ideas, some are very small and easy. Take a photo at each accomplished task.

There are also a few books that would give you good ideas!

Whatever you do HAVE FUN!

I realize this is probably not doable, but how about staying for 65 nights? That'd eliminate having to count things!

If your wife is a princess (like me), maybe do the make your own tiara at the Crystal store on main street?

I like the previous person who said combine big and small. Something as simple as getting the birthday button, getting a Mickey bar, etc.

Is your wife outgoing? I would maybe try getting my photo taken with 65 people. I think it would be fun to ask people if they would take a photo with my for my birthday. I know I would jump at the chance if someone asked me!
