Thoughts on Double Dip prices?

Are the prices for the Double Dip in the pricing thread outrageous? I currently have a 3 night in Feb 2017 but would love to go on a longer cruise in summer, and when the itineraries came out I really like the idea of 2 nights at CC and one sea day.
But I have never shopped for a double dip so not sure what kind of price range is typical/reasonable? I am getting quotes around $6000-6300 for 2A2K for an outside.

Yes, but I've been waiting a long time for double dip itineraries that would fit with my schedule, so I put down the deposit. I know in 2011 I paid about $1000 less for a 5-night for a higher category room.
