Thoughts on best bet for getting bwv standard view

Planning on a trip in Late September early October. Not too picky on dates, want a Sunday thru Thursday nite stay. bringing girlfriends. My home resort is BCV and I can make ressies there for a one bedroom (24pts a nite) but would like to stay at BWV in a standard two bedroom (same amount of points). What are my best options for getting a 2br-standard anytime after Sept 20 to mid October? I'd even consider two standard studios - less points.

1. Trade points with someone who owns at BW - and does that usually go smoothly (my points would be good until June 2004).

2. Book the one bedroom at bc and waitlist at BW

3. Wait for the 7 month window and hope i get standard 2br at bw.

There is always great thoughts on this board and your opinions would be greatly appreciated.

IMHO, your best option is to either trade points with a BWV owner or rent points from a BWV owner. Standard view rooms (especially for the lower cost weekdays) do tend to book up shortly after the 11 month window opens for most time periods. You may already be too late since the 11 month window is already open for September & Ocotober, 2003.

It is not impossible to get a standard view at the 7 month window. However, you cannot count on it and will probably need to the use the waitlist. Good luck!

P.S. if you plan to go no matter what, do book your home resort now and then try to change at the 7 month window.
