Thoughts on a 1st pass at a park strategy......

Hello wise DisBoarders. We don't travel for a while, Sept 12-18, but I'm beginning to think of park strategies. Now this time of the season SHOULD be much less crowded, so that will help. I look at all the crowd level sites and generally they mark the dates mostly as "less crowded" with a couple of parks tagged as "Average" on a couple days. We don't know for sure what the particular park hours will be, but we can make educated guesses. With all that, I've started a park strategy which you can see below. As we get closer we'll make determinations on Lightning Lanes, if we do them at all.

Staying at Beach Club. We have 6 day park hoppers. NO real plan yet for dining (may do QS all week)

Let me know if you see any obvious flaws in the thought process. I'm sure I'll edit and revise several times between now and the time we travel.

• Friday Sep 12 Free water park day
• Saturday Sep 13 MK = Primary EP = Secondary
• Sunday Sep 14 AK = Primary HS = Secondary
• Monday Sep 15 EP = Primary MK = Secondary (EEH @ MK ?)
• Tuesday Sep 16 HS = Primary AK = Secondary
• Wednesday Sep 17 MK = Primary EP = Secondary (EEH @ EP ?)
• Thursday Sep 18 TBD (Late flight out. Cn get a 1/2 day in somewhere)

We may bail on the water park and head to a park on day 1. If we do that, we won't go to a park on the 18th.

Did you take into account the Halloween parties? Not sure which days they’ll fall on while you’re there, but you have hoppers so you could do MK during the day on a party day (it’ll be very uncrowded) and hop elsewhere for the evening. Also be aware it’ll be hot, so that water park day might be nice. And the PP is correct about the EEH days, Mondsys Epcot and Weds is MK.

Thanks. Thats one of those things where the days and hours aren't out yet. Your suggestion though is a good one. We agree that the water park on a hot September day would be good. Stormalong Bay should be back open though at that time too. I think we'll have two options available to us and on the travel day we'll know which might be the better choice.

I highly recommend MK on party days! Historically your week in Sep those are Tues, Fri and Sun. You may wish to hop to MK on a non-party day to see the fireworks but it will be a markedly more crowded day.
