I am really going to sit back and enjoy this holiday season and take in all the sights as seen through the eyes of my kids.

LOL!!! I came here to complain and look....I have my own thread! I'm sitting in the hospital, awaiting the blood dr to see if I can convince him that I will be OK to drive to WDW next week. Thanks for all the well wishes!!!

The doctor just came in and told me I can drive to Disney!!!!! I am sooooo happy!!! I will have to stop every couple of hours and walk, as well as get my blood levels checked a few times while I'm there. I am soooo excited!!!!!

Thanks for all the good thoughts and prayers. I am home now and am soooooo happy!!! I've had some time to reflect on what happened and how lucky I am. I was stupid and waited 20 hrs to call the dr after the first onset of shortness of breath. I just thought I was out of shape and my body was giving up hauling my ample behind up the stairs on crutches. I am really going to sit back and enjoy this holiday season and take in all the sights as seen through the eyes of my kids.

Hey Everyone....Welcome my new friend Judith! I met her when I had to go back to the ER last night to get the injection I needed. I saw her cruise line lanyard and the discussion took off from there. I told her to come on over to the Unplugged board b/c we are fun!!

No, not recently. I actually got it when Meredith was born and I asked for help on the Technical board. I felt guilty about my screen name which was obviously around before she was So I asked for a little color to make her name stand out a little, too. Who knew at the time (6 years age) that Jack would become such a part of my Dis world and most of the time I really am "Jacksmom"

I'm getting excited about the trip! Now I have to work with my dr on Monday to find a place to get my blood levels checked near WDW. I was thinking Celebration Hosp. Then I have to fight with my insurance to cover it....Ugh It will work out though.
