Seriously, Kim -- I'm so sorry to hear about this latest complication but glad you are stable and doing well. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you for a speedy recovery.

Plus, look on the bright side -- now you can do a hospital dining review for Kevin!!! (Don't forget to add the kids and the crisis music. )

LOL!!! I came here to complain and look....I have my own thread! I'm sitting in the hospital, awaiting the blood dr to see if I can convince him that I will be OK to drive to WDW next week. Thanks for all the well wishes!!!

The doctor just came in and told me I can drive to Disney!!!!! I am sooooo happy!!! I will have to stop every couple of hours and walk, as well as get my blood levels checked a few times while I'm there. I am soooo excited!!!!!

If you're not back to normal soon, we will just have to have the next Boston mini-meet at the hospital.

Also, When are you supposed to come back from WDW? There's a chance our next trip might overlap.

Thanks for all the good thoughts and prayers. I am home now and am soooooo happy!!! I've had some time to reflect on what happened and how lucky I am. I was stupid and waited 20 hrs to call the dr after the first onset of shortness of breath. I just thought I was out of shape and my body was giving up hauling my ample behind up the stairs on crutches. I am really going to sit back and enjoy this holiday season and take in all the sights as seen through the eyes of my kids.
