MIL had her first chemo session last Wednesday and apart from feeling sick, very ill and having a bad headache for a few days she has come through quite well. Her next session is in 2 weeks time. The actual treatment only takes about 45 mins but with having to wait for the doctor etc. she was at the oncology department for over 5 hours - most of which was just sitting and waiting!
So far she hasn't lost any hair

Glad she came through her 1st treatment well. Hope this continues Tim

I am so sorry to only be posting now Tim, have just read whole thread. So sorry that your MIL is having to go through all this but it sounds like she has a very good chance of beating it and glad that things seem to be going well. wanted to send my thoughts and wishes to you all
