What are you booking for 2011 and the new cabin category structure?

I booked an 11B for our Dream trip, and selected a cabin - I'm thinking a GTY would have a better chance for an upgrade?

Any thoughts on this?

I booked an 11C. I figure as long as there's a bed, shower and toilet somewhere in the room, I'm fine with it. I don't tend to hang out in the room too much, anyway. (Of course, I'm one of those weirdos who mostly travels alone, so the reduced space isn't really an issue.)

Honestly, DCL upgrades based on their inventory requirements on any given cruise....I would not worry about booking an assigned cabin vs. a GTY cabin in hopes of an upgrade...the chances are about the same...and to go a step further...it does not matter if you booked with DCL or a TA, booked far in advance or last minute, paid off cruise ahead of time or by due date, yada, yada, yada.

Golden rule is to just book the cabin you are happy with and if you are surprised with a comp upgrade...hooray!!
