I want to know what it felt like to see the castle/Christmas decorations at the MK.

Just thinking about it brings me to tears.

I've seen many pictures of course but I feel like the moment I see it for the first time will be something indescribable.

Our hope is to go next Nov/Dec for our 20th wedding anniversary, kids in tow and share this experience together :)

My favorite holiday is Halloween so we made two trips in the fall when it was still value season but MNSSHP was still available. After two years, my mom said she wanted to try for Christmas time. (This was before I married DH and traveled with my mom when I was in college). I had my way the last two trips so I gave in.

I went there thinking it will be nice but I have seen Christmas decorations so wasn't really expecting to be wowed. BOY WAS I WRONG. We stayed at POFQ that year and when I walked into the resort I was already so thrilled everything was decorated. We went to the christmas party our first night there and the first thing I saw was the castle, dripping in beautiful ice like crystals, twinkling under the stars. It was absolutely breath taking!!! While I was drooling over the castle, I noticed the snow falling on main street and the christmas music playing. From that moment on I was so excited to see all of the Christmas decorations Disney had. We visited GF to see the gingerbread house and various other resorts to admire the Christmas decoration. I loved Epcot countries celebrating their own Christmas traditions and the light show at HS. Since then, I have returned for Christmas with my DH and will be going back for a 3rd time this year with my DH and in-laws. When you do have the opportunity to go, it will be so amazing!

We went to DL during Christmas season, but I would guess it is the same as WDW to some extent. It was MAGICAL! Omg, it was just incredible! It's like walking into fairyland and you are completely immersed in smells, sounds, sights of the season. Loved it so much, we are planning on being at WDW for the Christmas season in 2014 and 2015!

I just cry thinking about seeing it decorated for Christmas....we are taking our first Christmas trip the week before Thanksgiving and we are absolutely giddy with excitement. The last 3 times we have gone during Halloween so this will definitely be different!
