This year I am sticking with my New Year's resolution!

Every year I swear I am going to lose weight... Well next year I really am. I am having gastric bypass on Thursday and should lose about 100 lbs by 2004!!!


What is your New Year's resolution this year??

Wow! thats a great resolution! I guess mine would be to try to lose weight too, but Im not putting a number on the lbs...that way I won't get discouraged! Also, my other resolution is to back off on the "perfectionist" attitude I have about my house and let my family enjoy "living" there more!

I was just thinking about this...

While I could definitely lose weight--- I think my resolution is to be nicer to my MIL and try and let her comments just slide off my back like water off of a duck's back.

I think it would mean a lot to my DH.


Of course, I'll still have to vent about her at times. LOL

That is terrific, Robin. Good luck with the surgery. I also know of someone else that had this done, and they are very happy with the results.

My resolution is the same as it always is, to try and be more punctual. I'll be late to my own funeral, one of those types. Really hate that about myself, and am determined to make 2003 the year I finally change it.

It's funny, but last year, the very first year I didn't make a resolution to lose weight, I actually did.

Good luck on the surgery Robin. I had mine done back in April and have lost 80 lbs so far. Now if I can just finish getting through the holidays without snacking..... Hang in there.....
