Friday Jan 13: Hi 81, Lo 57
Saturday Jan 14: Hi 66, Lo 41
Sunday Jan 15: Hi 64, Lo 42

Wow, a 40 degree difference in high on Friday and low on Saturday.

I just saw that. Oh well, still T-shirt weather when your coming from 20s-30s. :)

I agree! I was in FL (Not at Disney) this past weekend visiting my folks, and the weather was the same. I was perfectly comfortable most of the time, they were freezing their butts off! :rotfl2:

Great...I will be nice and warm on Friday and breaking out the parka on Sat and Sun...sounds like home...lol :teeth:

Oh well, at least my DH and DS will still be wearing short sleeves. I have already packed sweaters and turtlenecks for me. :flower:

we're heading down on thursday night and i am reallllly torn about what to pack... i've got tee shirts for all of us... capris for me and dd... shorts for dh and ds... but i'm thinking i should throw a pair of jeans in for each of the guys... yes? we'll all have sweatshirts w/us but really do not want to carry them around all day everyday so i am thinking if we get really cold, we'll just buy one!

If I was going down that kind of a weather change would be nice. It's in the 30's up here.

We were there last week with similar weather. We all wore long pants and short-sleeves, except for DS with shorts and a tee. We were all comfortable and none of us was hot at all. We did need our jackets when the sun went down in the early evening, though. That's when DS wished he'd worn long pants! We took our jackets with us to the park and stored them in a locker til needed. My best advice would be to forego packing shorts and just stick with long pants, short and long sleeves, and definitely jackets.

We leave tomorrow and I'm packing my boys a pair of zip off pants (turn into shorts) for each day of our trip. They worked out great last February. They can zip them off when they get hot and put them back on in the evenings when it cools down. We'll take windbreakers and wear t-shirts underneath. I'm just looking forward to the nice warm weather the first few days of our trip. Anything out of the 30's and 40's is a plus for us.

I would not plan on shorts for anyone. It could get chilly -even at 75 degrees, in the wind- and you don't want to have to go all the way back to the room. We're going Thursday too. I think the boys MAY be able to swim when we get there Thursday afternoon, but after that, I am planning on long pants and long sleeved shirts. Maybe a T shirt, if Friday turns out to be as warm as predicted. Other days I will add a sweater and in the evenings, a jacket. Even though it is FL, it is still January.

for us, 75 is definitely shorts weather... heck, dd/ds were swimming in the atlantic ocean in new york in october! i packed today and packed a combo of shorts/long pants for the boys (wish we had those zip-offs but i am not about to invest in them for a four day trip!) and mostly capris for the girls...

So glad I found this link...I too am leaving on Thursday   ...I have been checking AccuWeather religiously for 2 weeks...excitement or obsession??? :rotfl2:
The lows aren't that low and the highs are higher on the Accuweather...but in the long run I am going to have jeans for all and long sleeve shirts with some short sleeve shirts and jackets for the evening. Maybe even a pair of shorts...they can always rewear them if they need...Looks like no sweating like in June....UGHHHHH! That was HOT!
Keep us posted!!

I think the wind is the key. They are calling for 17 MPH winds on Saturday and the "realfeel" low temp on Saturday night is going to be in the high 30's. Yikes! Sunday night is the EMH at MK and we planned to be at the park until midnight. We'll definitely need our jackets! I wonder how hot it gets with a jacket when you are waiting inside the attraction. I think that is what will bother me the most. Oh, well - we'll still be in WDW and will have a great time!

We'll be there Monday and I must be the only one who is looking forward to the mild temps. I don't want it too hot or too cold. We used to go in May and the weather was too hot and humid. I actually like touring the parks in comfortable weather.

I honestly wanted it warmer than last year, but it looks like it's going to be about the same. Last January it never reached higher than 70 all week. With lows in the 40s at night. It was cool, but not cold. Florida cold weather is not like New York cold weather!

Actually rain makes me upset, not cold weather in WDW.

We were there over New Years and I was FREEZING and it only got to be 57 as a low overnight. I had my fall jacket on and a pair of gloves, the last night, Jan 2nd, I actually took my scarf out from my carry on. IMO, it feels colder in Florida than up north because of the amount of moisture in the air. Up north in the winter it is usually pretty dry. I think it would be a HUGE mistake not to take pants for the family. Our hardcore daughter never wore any of the shorts/skirts she took over the holiday. DH was wearing his jacket and jeans too!!

Have Fun!!!

Oh yeah, we will all have jeans to wear. But I thought if it was more humid you felt warmer? Oh well, we will have clothes to cover just about everything. :)

as long as it's :sunny: I don't care!! LOL

I'm packing shorts, capris, and pair of jeans for this weekend. I have a feeling that Sunday will get chilly real quick as the sun goes down. I think it's also supposed to be breezy as well. I've got a sweatshirt on my packing list, too. I guess we're going to have to rent a locker since I won't have a stroller this trip to lug all the stuff around in, LOL

Much harder to pack for January than October ;)

Sounds like shorts weather to me, being from Maine. Actually we've been to WDW every January since 2000 so we are use to taking a little bit of everything. Shorts for Friday and pants and sweatshirts for Saturday and Sunday and then probably back to the shorts.

We head down there on Friday. I have also been watching accuweather for weeks now. I am packing a little of everything, mostly jeans and T-Shirts, a few sweatshirts too. I did pack shorts, but I doubt we will need them. Honestly, it could be snowing, freezing, raining or 100 degrees...it's Disney...I happy!!

We get there Saturday night, and we'll be stroller-less this time too! I have told DH to be prepared to rent a locker, because I don't want to be cold in the evenings, but I also don't want to have all my layers wrapped around my waist all day! I got a great fleece jacket at Old Navy this week; it's really warm and it was on sale for $11! That will be what I wear the most. I also bought thin cotton long sleeve shirts there. They will be warm underneath that jacket, but they are thin enough, they shouldn't be too warm in the afternoons.

It is much harder to pack for January! I packed on Sunday, and I have been adding and subtracting things all week!

I have several of the L/S t-shirts from Old Navy, too, LOL! They are great!

You are waaay ahead of me. I haven't opened a suitcase yet!
