You are the snow winner around here, this is nothing for you. Enjoy your hour!

It looks like it's going to miss us! We're about an hour south of Pittsburgh.

*knock on wood*

I'm sorry for those of you dealing with this storm! Stay safe and warm.

I wish it was like that an hour north or Pittsburgh. We have to get DS back to IUP tomorrow.

I grew up an hour north of Pittsburgh and went to IUP as well. :)

Be safe driving tomorrow. I'm in Delaware now and haven't seen any snow and probably won't. :sad1:

He really likes it there (a freshman). The drive is so boring about 3 hours from where we are (central PA).

How much snow do you guys have there in Chardon, so far?

we are in the Pocono Mtns of PA and it has been snowing here since I got up at 8 am. My son is at winter camp with the boyscouts! They are having a blast.

im about an hour north of pittsburgh and we got about 8 or 9 inches. However, pendot has been past my house so the main roads in the area 68/422 must be pretty clear since they dont even think our road exists until those are clear.

According to the officials...13 in. I'd say a little less.

For us in M-O-L, I haven't heard an "official" total yet...I bet they will say 10-11 inches. We definitely have a foot, at least, though.

Here's a pic of my kids out in it, now that I kicked them out!! They are shoveling the yard (we'll be the only grassy lawn in Ohio!)

I would say the same here (I'm less then a mile from M-O-L)

Love the pics, I miss those days of actually wanting to be outside in that!

Snow? What's that? Here in Delaware we get rain...and occasionally some sleety/freezing rain kind of crap. We haven't had a good snow in a few years...which just sucks.

The kids are in now and I don't know how they stay out for so long. They were in full snow gear and still came in soaked. They are so funny! Off to make hot chocolate and wings!

Yours about DOUBLED the time mine spent out there. I think it took longer to suit them up than the time they actually stayed out there. My laundry room is a giant puddle now, as the clumps of snow fall off the coats/hats/snowpants/gloves! Off to mop now, and make the hot chocolate.

That is good to hear. I think we are on 422 a little when we take DS to IUP (tomorrow).

thankfully it stopped here a few days ago, but we were in a hotel from monday to thursday because we got ordered by the fire department to evacuate for fears our roof was collapsing:scared1: heard some loud booms early monday and found the ceiling from our entry way through our living room had a big crack running across it:scared1: :scared1:

You don't happen to be in the Spokane area, do you? I heard that they really got hit with the snow. We were living in Pullman until August and I kow that last year wa sreally bad, but here in Michigan we have received a ton of snow in the last 24 hours. One that that I don't like about Michigan is that they do not plow or deice the roads liek they did back in Washington. We were spoiled by tire chains, studs, and snowplows :lmao: Drivers here are just plain scary!
