Maybe storms like this normally hit at night or something, but I can't remember it snowing so continuously like it is right now. It's nuts!

Anyone else?

I see you're in Ohio. We're east of you in PA & it's been snowing steadily since I got up at 8am - and they say it will become heavy later this afternoon & not stop til 7am tomorrow! Woo hoo I love snow (because I don' thave anywhere to be today or tomorrow!)

Unfortunatly I'm at work. We're hoping the boss lets us close.

You're in for a treat--It's REALLY coming down here--very heavy steady flakes.

I am very, very tired of the snow. :cold:

DH was out snowblowing earlier and the cat went out and tried to push the snow he blew off the driveway back onto it. It was too cute. :) But she gave up quickly and came back in. Didn't even try to find something to kill. Even the flippin kitty doesn't want to be out in this crap for long.

Three more months, maybe a little more, and it will end. :cool1:

I am loving it!!! I got up early and went out with the camera. Great to get pictues of new, fallen snow! :) I went to the grocery store after work yesterday so I will spend the day eating and taking down the rest of my holiday decorations, followed by more eating!;)

TC:cool1:

thankfully it stopped here a few days ago, but we were in a hotel from monday to thursday because we got ordered by the fire department to evacuate for fears our roof was collapsing:scared1: heard some loud booms early monday and found the ceiling from our entry way through our living room had a big crack running across it:scared1: :scared1:

the good news is it does'nt appear the roof collapsed and insurance will take care of it-weird news is until they do i'm stuck with temporary framing for a wall to hold up that part of the ceiling-that's structured just so that my chirstmas tree is trapped in the living room until this gets resolved :santa:

be careful everyone.

It should be to us within the next few hours and they say it will snow all night into tomorrow for between 8-14 inches along the coast and more inland.
I HATE snow and the cold and need to move to somewhere where they never get the stuff. But I can't leave my grandson so I am stuck here complaining and freezing.

It looks like it's going to miss us! We're about an hour south of Pittsburgh.

*knock on wood*

I'm sorry for those of you dealing with this storm! Stay safe and warm.

I'm in Iowa and it's been snowing all night long and into today.

This is the second incredibly harsh winter we've had in a row. I've never been so cold and so snowbound!!!!

I'm another in Cleveland, and I have HAD ENOUGH! I am in the "snow belt" and get TONS of lake effect, but this is NUTS.

It's snowing here in Detroit as well. We already shoveled and we will be shoveling again later. This snow will continue til later this afternoon.
"Happy Snow Day!'

Yay! We're closing at 1pm. Have a great weekend everyone!!

We are expecting that snow this evening. They say by 7pm it will start.
DS18 is looking forward to it...we just bought a new snow blower and he can't wait to "play."

Sounds like the storm that's supposed to hit us later today. Great. I am supremely sick of snow and cold.

I'm east of Cleveland, in Lake County. We had Lake effect snow starting Thursday. We're RIGHT on the Lake Shore. We're getting steady snow too. My nephew slept over last night, and my sister doesn't want to drive in it till it gets better. Lordy, I hope it's not necessary to have him another night and day. He and my kids do bicker a lot.

I will say that this is the kind of snow I would have been outside playing in, for hours, up until I was about 20 yrs old. Maybe I'll send the kids out. Our bush has about a foot on top of it.

Anyway, I'll take this snow, with temps where they are now, over the bitter cold temps I think are coming our way next week!

Yup. Much as I detest the snow, I'll take a balmy 27 degrees over 0-5 any day of the week.

Around 25 I can deal. It's not that bad. When it gets down around 0 I start getting pissed.

Hope you all are warm enough!!!

We were supposed to wake up to 3-6 inches of snow....yawn, got nothing AGAIN.

This is of course, after everyone ran out to buy milk, eggs, and bread. WHY the dire need for french toast when it snows, I'll never understand. :confused3
