This just breaks my heart!

Heart breaking, but it sure sounds like one strong and inspiring family is surrounding this little girl.

This little girl fell into a canal while her grandparents were watching her, a half an hour later she bumped into leg of a farmer who just happened to be working in the irrigation canal two miles from where she fell in. He immediately started child cpr. Sounds like she has a long road ahead of her, and it seems like the family is thankful for all the prayers and comments people are leaving, even the ones from strangers, so that's why I thought I would post the link here.

I want to add that this was posted on a public blog that I read, so I am not sharing something that the family wants to remain private.

When I check for updates I have to make sure my kids aren't around because I turn into a puddle of tears too. So sad, it's impossible not to.
It seems like such a miracle that someone was standing in that canal and she bumped into him, and that he knew child/infant cpr! The family is such an inspiration, I hope they have many more miracles to come.

Oh my goodness, it's a good thing I have tissues at my desk. What a gorgeous little family, and what amazing parents Pressley has! I hope like crazy that she's able to pull through and be a happy, healthy little girl again. I just cannot imagine...

Wow, such a sad story and yet strangely uplifting. It is amazing the strength and courage they are finding through their spirituality. They are truly a blessed family and I pray their blessings continue and their little angel makes a full and complete recovery.

Young children and water—pools, rivers, oceans, bath tubs-- terrify me.

What happened to these poor people was my worst nightmare when my children were little. It can happen in an instant.

This child is so beautiful. My heart breaks for them all….
