This is your 24th Anniversary? But you're so young!~A 5/12 TR!*PTR link pg 49, 9/14!*

I know what you mean about wanting to have an ADR-free trip someday! It really just complicates things sometimes to be SO overscheduled, and then have to pay cancellation fees on top of it! At least you were cancelling for a fun reason though!

I agree with a previous poster...it's just food after all....more time at the MK is priceless!

I feel the same way as you do in the Liberty Square, I just want to hang out there because I love the theming!

Awww, yay for Magic Kingdom!

Hahah I don't blame you for wanting to cancel Le Cellier! You can only get so much MK time in your life, you know? And after a while, food is just food.

If you need a roommate, I'll take you up on that. Although we might need to install some plumbing...

Haha, I agree, there is only so much MK time in life! I missed Le Cellier, but it was the best choice for that day, and besides, I'll be making up for it in November! :rotfl2:

Haha, sure roomie! I doubt Brandon would be up for moving into one of the Liberty Square houses...we'd definitely need some plumbing...and cable to watch Stacey and Friends, of course! :rotfl:

Great job on the 9 lbs. I know it's such hard work, but so worth it to feel good at WDW.

That's kind of creepy to have Mr. Toad in there. Like if they put Snow White in the human cemetery, since they took her ride out, too.

We hardly make ADRs, because it seems to take up so much of the day moving from park to park. I think you made the right call. :thumbsup2

Thank you! I'm so glad I got serious about losing weight now, I just lost another 2.5 this past week so I'm up to 11.5! Maybe my goal of 40 pounds by my trip is actually do-able! :cool1:

Huh I never really thought about putting Snow White in the cemetery! That would be creepy, especially since you can meet her in the parks! :scared1:

I love ADR's and eating at the restaurants, but sometimes it just takes up so much time! We definitely made the right call for that day, as much as I love Le Cellier, I just needed some more MK time! :thumbsup2

Boo for the cancellation fee!!???? Whats up with that? Good decision though, i would have done the same.
I LOVE Main street in the morning...one thing we dont do enough of is enjoy the singers, the Mayor, etc I'm guilty of running down Main st and hitting the attractions. So thats awesome that you got to enjoy that!
You guys also Patriot's fans or just the Sox....???

Some of the restaurants now require a credit card number when you make an ADR so that if you cancel within 24 hours, or just don't show up, they charge you. I think it's to prevent people from not showing up to ADR's or something, it's kind of annoying, but whatever, it was worth it! :rotfl2:

I usually do the same thing too, just run down Main Street, look at the castle, and then hit the rides, so it was nice to take our time!

Brandon is a Patriots fan, I'm I guess a casual fan...I don't follow them like the Red Sox, but I do like them. I suppose I'm more of a Tom Brady fan than anything! I like football, but I can just barely follow a game, there are so many rules to keep straight it gets frustrating! I know the minimum required to actually understand what is going on!

Isn't it strange how we all get into our own little routines at the parks? I think it's funny how you said you entered on the left side for the first time because we ALWAYS go in on the left side and never the right (unless it's for one of the parties, haha).

I think canceling your ADR was a good idea, especially if you had already eaten there earlier in the trip. Gotta make the most of your time at MK! You should try an ADR-less trip sometime...you can do it. ;) It is really nice not having to worry about making your reservation.

Random side note, but since you mentioned Liberty Square, I have to tell you that when we were in Boston I saw a street that was called Liberty Square (that might fall under a "you know you're obsessed with Disney when..."-LOL) I should have taken a picture of it! LOL.

It's weird that we enter on the right side, because we always seem to start on the left, like Adventureland or Liberty Square! I don't know why, there's no reason, it just happens that way! :rotfl:

I do want to try an ADR-less trip someday, but I know I'd be like "well, I have to make one for Le Cellier, and I need one for 'Ohana"...after a while, it would just get out of control! :rotfl2: So as nice as all that freedom might sound, I can't see us actually doing it! Unless we went on a super spontaneous trip with no planning at all!

Haha, Liberty Square reminds me a lot of Boston, it's probably why I like it so much! That's cool that there is a street called Liberty Square! :thumbsup2

Great job on your 9 lbs loss! :)

I'd cancel Le Cellier for more MK time too!

Thank you! I'm up to 11.5 now! :)

Canceling Le Cellier was a good choice, because we stayed in MK for a while that morning, and it was so much fun!

:faint::faint::faint: Seriously, I almost fell out of my chair when I read that. As you know we weren't happy with LeCellier last year and I didn't even attempt to get an ADR this year, so I personally think you made the right choice. I'd take more time in the Magic Kingdom than an ADR any day. I know how you feel about when you see the castle...whether it's the first time or the 100th time.

Haha I know right? I almost fainted when I suggested it! :rotfl: I wish you would give Le Cellier another try though, it's just SO good!

I always feel like we never have enough MK time on each trip. It's probably because I schedule so much Epcot time, and then I feel like we're missing out on MK! I'm trying to avoid that problem for November but it's hard, since we want to do the Food and Wine festival the first 4 days! :confused3

Im shocked you guys gave up Le Cellier, but honestly I probably would have too. Especially since you had a chance to eat there already and MK is just sooo well magical :thumbsup2

Haha, I'm shocked too, but it worked out! MK is really magical and we were having such a great time that morning so why not just stay for a while? Sometimes a couple hours in a park is just not enough! :thumbsup2

Oh great, now I'm going to have to sit through another great review from LTT aren't I?

I really want to squeeze it in on our trip but I'm heading into the 2 adrs a day territory and I am trying not to do that. But booking LTT and being so close at BLT is soooo tempting.

:eek:I can't believe you cancelled Le Cellier. Are you still going to eat there each trip once it goes to 2TS?

Well, LTT IS really good! :thumbsup2 Wow, 2 ADR's a day? Where are you thinking of going? I don't care, I'm just wondering what places you want to go!

I'm sure we will still eat at Le Cellier, but probably just once per trip now, instead of multiple times. And if they change the lunch menu like they did with the dinner menu and take away my cream cheese mashed potatoes and chocolate moose, there might be a problem! :rolleyes1

Knowing how much you love Le Cellier, I am a little surprised to see you cancelled your ADR. I would have never thought that possible, but sometimes it's just easier staying in the same park rather than run back and forth. Plus, it sounds like you and Brandon were having a great time relaxing and soaking up the MK, and you should grab those opportunities as much as you can, right? :goodvibes

Haha, I would have never thought canceling Le Cellier would be an option, but we were having so much fun in MK, it was actually a good choice! And besides, LTT is awesome, so I was looking forward to going there a little later! :cool1:

YOU cancelled LE CELLIER!?!?!?!?!?!

;)

I bet it was nice though, to have "free" time and no restrictions and be able to spend more time in MK? :)

BOO for last day, though!

Haha, I know right? :faint:

It was nice to know we didn't have to leave MK though, it was nice to be able to relax and just enjoy the morning!

Ugh I know, I don't even want to think about the last day! :(

Yeah for more MK time! I have never seen any of the citizens on Main Street. Hopefully this time I won't have such blinders on and will notice more around me!

LTT is a good option though! Hopefully your meal there did not disappoint!

I mostly see the citizens of Main Street in the morning when the park opens! Haha, sometimes I feel like I have blinders on in Disney too, there are things that I will see for the first time on each trip and think "how could I have missed that for so long!" :rotfl:

I love LTT, it was great! We've never had a bad meal there! :thumbsup2

sounds like a very relaxing morning at MK! I have to stop and take in the castle too, so you are not alone on that fact!! I can understand cancelling you reservation. When you're really enjoying yourself and want to take your time its a good idea! I love Liberty Square too. Its so precious and quaint!

It was very relaxing once we canceled Le Cellier, before that I was getting really worked up about having to leave in 2 hours! I'm glad we got to have more MK time that morning, it was a lot of fun!

I could probably just park myself in front of the castle for hours and be perfectly content, I love it! :cloud9:

Oooh, that's good to know! My group kind of went overboard with the fish'n'chips when we went to England (it was cheap! We were poor!) so I burned out on fish'n'chips. I think enough time has passed to give them another shot, though.

Nope, no pasta here! idk, just never liked it but I love all the flavors of Italian food. Just very difficult to find an entree that I like where I'm not wasting half the food.

I guess because now people can't see Graumann's Theater? It would be better if that silly stage wasn't in front of it -

Haha, by 'left side of MK' I thought you meant Adventureland. Oops! Starting on that side of the park can be fun too :)

I think Liberty Tree Tavern is a good substitute for Le Cellier! That whole area is so quaint (and much, much bigger than the Canada Pavilion. That's a nice bonus, I think. Le Cellier always seems so.. cramped).

I'm very intrigued about the PTR though. Some special surprises for that trip??

Haha, you should give the fish and chips another shot, they are actually very good! That's all I ate when I was in England too, unless we went to an American restaurant (we went to TGI Friday's TWICE when we were in London...can you believe that? Sad! :rotfl2:) they are just so good in England!

I can see how eating Italian food might be hard if you don't eat pasta! :scared1: In a way you're lucky that you don't like it though, I mean, it's not exactly good for you! I'm so used to eating pasta, now that I'm trying to cut it out or replace it with wheat, it's really hard! I'm getting used to it now, but at first it's kind of gross!

We actually do usually start in Adventureland, or Liberty Square. I'm not sure why, it just happens that way! It will be nice when the new Fantasyland opens and everyone rushes over there first thing in the morning! :thumbsup2

Le Cellier is really cramped, which annoys me, but I try to get past it because I love eating there so much! But LTT is a good replacement, and staying in MK was fun, you can never go wrong with more MK time!

Actually, I don't have any surprises for this trip yet...the planning has been so frustrating that I haven't even looked at my days or anything, I just made my ADR's in May and that's it. Oh and I switched resorts, which you will hear all about in the PTR! I'm just hoping once I get the PTR going, my plans will fall into place, because right now, they are a mess! :rotfl2:

I know what you mean about wanting to have an ADR-free trip someday! It really just complicates things sometimes to be SO overscheduled, and then have to pay cancellation fees on top of it! At least you were cancelling for a fun reason though!

It would be so nice to have an ADR free trip someday! I'm just not sure we could ever do it, I love Le Cellier and 'Ohana too much! Maybe if we went during a really slow time so we could get walk up's!

I'm not a big fan of the stupid cancellation fees now, but staying in MK was more important! And anyway, we would have just spent that money on appetizers and drinks anyway if we did end up at Le Cellier, so whatever! Staying in MK that morning was so much fun, I don't even care about the cancellation fee! :rotfl2:

I agree with a previous poster...it's just food after all....more time at the MK is priceless!

I feel the same way as you do in the Liberty Square, I just want to hang out there because I love the theming!

I agree...even though it was Le Cellier, staying in MK was much more important! :cool1:

Liberty Square is so cute! I wish it was a little bigger and maybe there were a few more shops or something else to do besides HoP and the Haunted Mansion! Still, it's one of my favorite areas in MK! :yay:

OH MY GOD I had never heard of seeing alligators at Splash Mountain but I just looked it up and OMG. That certainly adds a new level of thrill onto that ride.

A few months back I listened to a Disney podcast where they interviewed Stacey and she couldn't say exactly, but she did hint around that we would be seeing more of her in the future! So i'm guessing there will be new Stacey footage!!! YES!!!

Onto your update... I have a love/hate relationship with the busses, they're great and oh so free but there is a lot of waiting involved sometimes!

Congrats on losing 9 pounds! Stick with it, the longer you keep the routine going, the easier it gets... trust me.

I love Mr. Toad! I always stop to look at him no matter what.

Ahh the new cancellation fees are so annoying. We change our plans a lot too. When I'm planning the trip and our ADRs... it's so hard to decide what you're going to want to do on a day that is months away. The $10 fee is really not fair. :furious:

YAY MK! Definitely a good choice to dedicate a morning to one park. Sorry you had to get stuck in a long line for the bus, but really that is shocking for a morning. I've never heard of a line being that long too early in the morning especially at a resort like yours. Strange... but at least you had a back-up plan and were there in no time. :) Can't believe you walked on past the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, but you can't help but not be drawn to the trolley show :goodvibes

:thumbsup2 to getting your Peter Pan FPs! LOL @ the title's story. Oh, crazy CMs! Love your pictures from the HM! The Mr. Toad tombstone is so cool, I really need to get a picture, but hopefully I'll be able to find it again too :/

Whoa! I'm shocked you were able to sum up the courage to actually cancel your Le Cellier ADR. Wowzer! But hey, at least Brandon got a reservation at LTT. I hope it was definitely worth it for you two. Great pictures of Liberty Square, it really is so nicely themed. I miss it so much.

Can't wait to read about the rest of your day at MK! :mickeyjum

Love the update!! I need to look for Mr. Toad when we go on the HM on our next trip!! I always forget and end up missing him. LOL!!

I love crazy cast members. They always make the experience more memorable and fun!

Yay for being able to get a ressie at LTT.... Can't wait to read more!!

I think you probably made a great decision. Just staying and soaking it all in

It's always hard to leave the MK on the last day of a trip. I bet Le Cellier would have been good, but it's nice to do whatever you feel like on vacation, too. I kind of miss the good old days, when it was easier to walk into restaurants without an ADR.

I love just looking at the castle from all angles. It's so pretty, it deserves the attention!
Glad you were able to get a LTT ressie! I can understand not wanting to leave MK when your time is so limited.

OH MY GOD I had never heard of seeing alligators at Splash Mountain but I just looked it up and OMG. That certainly adds a new level of thrill onto that ride.

Isn't that alligator at Splash terrifying? :scared1: I actually get scared at the end of the ride, like one is going to just jump out of the water and rip my arm off or something...ridiculous! :rotfl:

YAY I cannot wait for new Stacey! :cool1: She really needs to do something for the new Fantasyland and Test Track...however, if they get rid of "Test Track Baby!" my life might be over.

I like the buses, especially for MK, but I just could not deal with waiting that morning! Of course, walking to the car, driving to MK, then parking and actually getting to MK probably took much longer than actually waiting for the bus even with the crowd of people, but whatever! I get SO impatient at Disney when I want to get to a park, it's insane!

Thank you! I'm up to 11.5 pounds now! :yay: I actually might make my goal of losing 30 more pounds before I go back to Disney! I wouldn't say it's getting easier yet but I have noticed that exercising IS really becoming a habit and I am making so much better, healthier food choices now! I can't wait til the weather cools a little and I can start doing the Couch to 5K again, I'm really looking forward to it!

Ugh, yeah, I don't like the cancellation fees! I never thought in a million years I'd cancel Le Cellier! But it happens, sometimes you just want to be in MK when you're supposed to be in Epcot! Someday I'll be brave and do an ADR-less trip...someday! :rotfl:

YAY MK! Definitely a good choice to dedicate a morning to one park. Sorry you had to get stuck in a long line for the bus, but really that is shocking for a morning. Can't wait to read about the rest of your day at MK! :mickeyjum

I love MK in the morning, it's always so perfect and cheerful! I don't have a lot of experience with the buses, but I didn't think the wait would be that long so early...then again, maybe it just looked like a lot of people to us, since we never go on the buses! We don't really like crowds, so maybe seeing more than 5 people waiting freaked us out! :rotfl:

I'm so glad I finally saw Mr. Toad! I can't believe how many years I've looked and missed it! And then Brandon looks one time and spots it! Same with that purple cat at the Osborne Lights! :rotfl:

Haha I can't believe we cancelled Le Cellier either! :scared1: But it was worth it to get more MK time, and LTT is always yummy! :thumbsup2

Thank you! Haha, I either always forgot to look for Mr. Toad, or I would look and I'd miss him! He is kind of far away so he's easy to miss! I'm glad I finally saw him!

LTT is so good, if I had time for more ADR's in November, I'd definitely eat there again! :yay:

I think you probably made a great decision. Just staying and soaking it all in

Thanks, I'm glad we stayed at MK that morning, it was so much fun! :woohoo:

It's always hard to leave the MK on the last day of a trip. I bet Le Cellier would have been good, but it's nice to do whatever you feel like on vacation, too. I kind of miss the good old days, when it was easier to walk into restaurants without an ADR.

Yeah, I sometimes think about our first trip together, when I knew nothing about ADR's and how we just did whatever we wanted, whenever we wanted! I wish it wasn't so hard to eat at the restaurants now! I think maybe someday I might be able to do a trip if I just made ADR's at 'Ohana and Le Cellier and left the rest up to fate, but I'm not sure Brandon would go for it! I try to keep schedule things so we have a basic itinerary but still have the freedom to switch things up, but it's getting harder and harder to do that, especially now with those cancellation fees! :rotfl:

I love just looking at the castle from all angles. It's so pretty, it deserves the attention!
Glad you were able to get a LTT ressie! I can understand not wanting to leave MK when your time is so limited.

I could look at the castle for hours! I wish I had a real camera so I could take really amazing shots of the castle! :thumbsup2

I'm glad we got into LTT too, it was nice spending more time at MK! I missed Le Cellier a little but being in MK was much more important, and it turned out being one of the best days of the trip!

I swear I'm still reading! LOL! this new job is totally impeding on my DIS time! I'm hoping to get all caught up today or tomorrow!

Ok umm I was apparently only 2 updates behind so I got caught up on my lunch break!

That's so sucky that ToT was down!! I would feel the same way about Soarin' so don't feel bad for having a hissy fit about it!

I had to cancel 2 ADRs in 2010 when my BF got sick and even though we didn't get charged a fee, I was still bummed out about it! I'm shocked you changed your Le Cellier ADR! I know how much you guys love it but sometimes you need to just stop running around... I totally get that!

I can't believe it's your last day already!

Great update! How lovely that your day seemed to open up after you cancelled the Le Cellier ADR! I am glad your DH was on board with the decision! Can't wait to hear about your LTT lunch and the rest of your day at MK!

AHH That's so exciting that you're going to do a Disney 5K! I want to do one so badly! I am excited for you! Have you seen the couch to 5K workout plan? I'm not sure how much running you do right now, so it might not be too helpful, but when I started running I used it and I loved it!

AHH and you're staying at BLT?! That's amazing! I'm so happy for you!

I wonder if we had the same CM on the GMR, because ours was really awkward too!

I can TOTALLY relate to why you got upset over ToT. RnRC is my favorite ride, and it was broken TWICE while I was there. I was so upset, I seriously did cry. I hate it when our favorites are messed up! :sad1:

Oh no! I can't believe you're on your last day. :( Well, at least, you have another trip coming very very soon!

I always enter to the right at MK too! I don't think I've ever entered to the left, actually.

That's awesome that you've lost 9 pounds already! Congratulations! :thumbsup2

I love your castle pictures! Haha our poor husbands, they will never understand why we have to take the same pictures a million times! :rotfl:

You cancelled Le Cellier?! Honestly, as shocking as it is, I don't blame you at all. We ended up cancelling several ADRs on our trip so we could have more flexibility! Sometimes you just don't feel like doing what you originally planned! ;)

Seriously, I feel that way about Liberty Square too. It's my favorite part of MK!

I can't believe it's your last day already!

I'm really behind on your TR too...I've actually read all the updates I just haven't had time to comment! I have no DIS time now that I've been exercising and stuff, it's weird, I used to love just sitting on the computer for hours reading TR's and now I feel like there is just more stuff I need to be doing! Once Brandon is back at work at night I'll have much more DIS time!

OMG if Soarin' was down I'd have some mental breakdown! :furious: I don't even know what I'd do. It's bad enough when Soarin' FP's are gone!

I can't believe we cancelled Le Cellier but it just seemed like it made the most sense that day! And trust me, we'll make up for it in November! :rotfl2:

Great update! How lovely that your day seemed to open up after you cancelled the Le Cellier ADR! I am glad your DH was on board with the decision! Can't wait to hear about your LTT lunch and the rest of your day at MK!

Thank you! It was such a great MK day, I'm so glad we cancelled Le Cellier, it just made things so much easier! I love Le Cellier but I just needed to be in MK that day! :cool1:

Seriously, I feel that way about Liberty Square too. It's my favorite part of MK!

I'm excited to do a Disney 5K too! Especially the Royal Family one because it goes through Epcot, how perfect is that? :cool1: I actually started doing the C25K last year, but I gave up after I got stuck on week 3... I'm going to try it again when it cools off a little so I can run outside! I'm not a runner at all so I think I'm going to do each week twice so I know I'm ready to move on instead of trying to rush through it like I did last year!

I know I can't believe it's the last day already but that's the bad thing about short trips, they end so quickly! Whatever though, a little Disney is better than no Disney right? :thumbsup2

Entering on the left side of MK is really weird...I'm not sure I'm going to do it ever again! :lmao:

Thanks! I'm up to 11.5 now and I have to weigh myself Saturday so hopefully I lost a few more! :)

Haha, yeah, Brandon always asks me why I bother taking pictures in Disney anymore since we go there so much...I just tell him to leave me alone, it's what I do, and that seems to be an acceptable answer! :rotfl:

I can't believe we cancelled Le Cellier either, but I agree, sometimes it makes sense to cancel ADR's to have more park time or flexibility!

I've been reading along, but way behind with comments!

First off, I'm glad you didn't die in Epcot! :rotfl: Seriously, though, no fun and I'm glad you were feeling better later!

Great job on the weight loss! Keep it up!

I can't believe you and Brandon decided to cancel Le Cellier! But, it sounds like it was the right decision for you and you probably made somebody's day, allowing them to get into Le Cellier last-minute!

Good for you for being spontaneous and canceling your Le Cellier ADR. I know how much you love that place, so that couldn't have been easy. I really hope you liked LTT.

Great picture of Mr Toad! Heck, all your pictures are really good.

Haha, don't worry, I know I haven't been commenting on your PTR either, but I have been reading! I'm doing that with a lot of TR's/PTR's lately because I just have no DIS time! :rotfl:

Thanks, I'm glad I didn't die in Epcot either! Ugh that was such a horrible afternoon but I'm just glad I felt better!

I can't believe it either! But it was nice to have more MK time! :thumbsup2

It wasn't easy, but since I was almost crying at the thought of leaving MK soon, I couldn't do it! And LTT was awesome, I'm so glad we ate there instead! :thumbsup2

Thanks! Ugh I want a new camera SOOOO bad for November, especially since this camera doesn't take good pictures of the castle all lit up for some reason, but I just don't think I can afford one now! :( Maybe I'll bring my old camera with me on this trip too, because for some reason, it takes amazing pictures of the castle, but everything else sucks! :rotfl:
