This is what I got for Thanksgiving Weekend

We had an existing AAA reservation for Nov. 24 to 28....4 nights @ $118.64 per night for a total of $474.56.....

called to have AP rate applied and was told "sorry, nothing available."

I asked to speak to guest services.....here is what happened..

The problem date was Nov. 24th...the original CM said nothing was available because the 24th was sold out.

Guest services then told me..."we have nothing available for the 24th...BUT we can get you the AP rate from the 25th on....the last 3 nights. "

So I now have 2 reservations....first night AAA discount @ $118.64 which is Paid in Full ...and another reservation for the 25th, 26, & 27th at the AP rate for $88.00 per night tax included for a total of $264.00.

So when its all said and done...I saved $93.00. There is a chance that I may have to switch rooms...BUT she said its in the system that I have continuos reservation.

I WILL CALL POR 5 DAYS AHEAD WHEN THEY DOWNLOAD MY RESERVATION INTO THE SYSTEM.

We will be at POR. The guest service lady said that basically EVERYTHING is sold out....all they had left was a few rooms at CBR or CSR with the AP rate.

So, if you are told nothing is available...ask if any other days duringyour stay are...you may want to considered multiple reservations to get any available discount.

Nothing is available at any of the deluxes with the AP rate..I did not ask about the values.

13 weeks from today...91 days and COUNTING...and we just got home this past Sunday from 11 nights at POR.

I just got off the phone with them too. It took forever, but I finally have it all squared away. My original dates were...

Beach Club 11/23-11/27
Port Orleans RS 11/27-12/4

I wanted the Beach Club first and then switch to Poly instead of POR. I had to switch my second half of dates from 11/27-12-4 to 11/28-12/4 for the Poly. This messed up my Beach Club dates. I decided to see what else was available then (11/23-11/28.) Just like Kinggoofy there was not much available. I didn't even think to switch the dates around there. I ended up with 2 rooms (we have 5 people) for $881 (includes tax) for Coronado Springs. It will have to do. Then I will go to the Poly for $209/night for the remainder of the vacation. Can't wait. I've never been to either so it will be fun.

I started this process at 7:30 this morning and got off the phone with the 2nd CM at 10:15. It was worth it for the discount.

we will be checking in on Monday 11-22 for a week. the only night I could not get was wed. the 24th for AP rate.

I have 3 reservations...1st is mon / tues ---the 2nd is Wed. 24th & the 3rd is thurs / fri / sat.

1st and 3rd are with AP rate..and the 24th is $133 for that night.
AP rate was $79 per night.

At least we will be there for Thanksgiving.

Originally we staying 11 nights at POFQ November 20 to December 1 and 3 nights AKL SV from December 1 to December 4. No problems getting the AP for AKL. Couldn't get the AP rate at FQ for all 11 nights. We opted for a 7/7 split. Saved about $600 still when all was said and done even with more more nights at a Deluxe resort. I am happy with it!

POFQ November 20 to 27 $1233 for two rooms
AKL SV November 27 to December 4 $2357 for two rooms.
