I love Randall's whole story line. I also love William. I am mentally preparing myself because I don't think he will be around much longer
I have loved seeing them get to know each other and how the whole family is warming up to him. It's just so sad he will be taken away so soon after meeting them. I love how they are touching on Randall's family being wealthy and him growing up in a white family while William was in the slums. Yet we see how Randall did have a connection to his race by him gravitating towards the other African American families at the pool. You could also see it in Randall as he watched his daughter being snow white in a play at school. He is probably wondering if she is being deprived of her culture by being in a wealthy and predominately white area (as they keep showing and making comments to his white neighbors, the audience was mainly white etc..) It is so interesting getting the background stories.
I still like Kate and Toby, I think he had a right to be upset that she kind of deceived his ex by applying for a job to try to get to know her. I would also be upset, its kind of sneaky.
