I guess this is how they get dropped so many times? We only had candy so there was certainly no "rehiding" of the eggs. We got candy inside those plastic eggs, so once we found an egg we stockpiled the candy. I can see where kids would give up actual eggs as I wouldn't want to eat them in the first place, much less after they had been hidden couple times.

That's pretty much it. They usually are very gentle about putting them in their baskets either. Then you add the siblings trying to get to an egg before the other one does and some get smashed.

The second hunt was a mix of plastic candy filled eggs and dyed ones.

I'm jealous of your Strawberry prices. I can get them down to $2 per pound.

Yeah well Ralph's dropped their gift card scam that we used to rely on for "lower prices". The artichokes were really cheap so they made for a great dinner.

We tend to get prices on strawberries like that around this time, but I just noticed that our strawberries in the garden, we have one starting to get red!

I'm not trying to rush, I just had a lot of laundry to do before I got ill so the pile kept getting bigger. And the whole time dishes stacking up. Things like that.
